Bburago 21100R BMW M3 (E30) Cheong Collectible Die-Cast Car, Red, L

My father had an imported red BMW E30 M3 when I was younger. He wound up having to sell it to a collector after a divorce. I purchased this for him as a bit of a nostalgia piece this Christmas. While it doesn't have the detail of a 1:18 scale, this 1:24 has enough accuracy and heart to appease a man who has a fondness for the car and worked as a BMW mechanic for years. While it lacks the detail of the larger models, it looks good and feels like it has a sturdy build. Based of the grill and headlights, it appears to be based on the the North American spec, although it doesn't specifically say.

I thought this was going to be way smaller like a tiny toy car but this is way better! I haven’t taken the car out of the box since I got it for my bf for Christmas. It’s his dream car so I’m actually glad it wasn’t as tiny as I thought it would be. Love this!
