It's better than the loghitech G604!!!
It's brilliant. I've tried a lot of mice (over a hundred different ones) and they all had flaws. The battery is too weak, the charging dock is bad, and the connector is bad. This solution is the best. The most convenient. The only drawback is that if you turn on the computer sleep mode, then you have to turn off the mouse with a switch. Otherwise, setting it to charge wakes up the computer back up. large battery - you won't be afraid if you forgot to set it to charge at night. It charges quickly. The software is an amazing solution, these are 5 modes of operation of the wheel. And they can switch automatically! That is, if you switch to the browser, it can run smoothly and without clicks. If you are logged into the game, the wheel starts working with clear clicks, which eliminates the chaos of switching weapons. Previously, I used other mice and in them this mode was either completely absent, or it was necessary to press a special button, mechanically

Best mouse I've owned.
After my Logitech G604 at work decided to start having switch troubles, it was time to look for another mouse. I was hoping to get another Logitech G604 or similar since I utilize the side buttons for work and for gaming. Unfortunately, at least as of the last time I searched, Logitech discontinued the G604 and didn't plan on making another similar. I'm glad I started looking at Razer mice as this one caught my eye and I was intrigued. I've had this mouse now for 9 months and it was the best decision I've made in any of my PC purchases, minus the PC of course. The mouse feels good in your hand and is very light compared to the G604. The feet slide extremely easy on mouse pads for flawless movement. The buttons are very responsive and I enjoy the extra 6 that I get compared to the 604; more commands/shortcuts at a thumb press. Some have had the button paint start to wear off but I have not, at least yet, so I'm not sure if they just have super acidic hand sweat or eating Cheetos while gaming. Anywho, the paint has not worn off in any way and I can still read all the numbers on the side buttons. As far as connectivity, I don't 'hardcore' game so I probably won't ever use the HyperSpeed setting on it but the bluetooth works wonderfully and is very quick to connect on start up. The mouse also has a timeout function which you can adjust via the software. The software I don't hear much good about but I haven't had trouble with it I guess. It allows me to program the buttons as needed and that's about all I use it for since this is the only Razer product I have. I'd recommend this mouse to anyone who doesn't like searching for keys on their keyboard for functions. It's not only a great mouse for gaming but for work when you need button combos that are a pain to do on the keyboard. I liked it so much that I ended up buying another one for home and replaced my G604 at home a few months later.

Great mouse
This is a great mouse, well worth the cost! I have big hands so I really like that it’s a bigger mouse and has a little weight to it, never been a fan of using small lightweight mouse even though I was a competitive FPS player and streamed full time. I liked the circular button layout on the old naga trinity interchangeable side panel better but it’s just a matter to time to get used to the change. The battery does legitimately last for weeks on a charge even if you forget to shut it off with the switch on bottom. I wish they would have somehow made it so the old naga trinity side buttons would work on this new version though. Other than that it gives you plenty of options to connect through and is super easy to set up and use.

Same old Naga but with a fancy new price tag.
If you've ever owned the Naga Pro and wonder how this improves upon that design, wonder no more. This is the same mouse structurally. The major differences are the scroll-wheel feature that you already have read about and the battery life. First, the scroll wheel feature. It's surprisingly cool. I don't know exactly how they manage to change the tension or detents in the scrolling behavior, but it does work. There are settings with super defined bumps (say for weapon selecting) and it scrolls between the "bumps" very cleanly. There are settings with no tension at all. Similar to the logitech mice, where you can just flick the wheel forward and it will keep spinning like there are ball bearings in there or something. The default setting is somewhere in between and feels very similar to the old Naga Pro. There's a graph in the configurator that lets you define your own tension and bumps. There can be a little mush to the bumps when switching from one to the other, but it goes away after the first scroll and leaves it feeling nice and crisp. i'm not sure how confident i feel about the longevity of this feature because i really don't yet understand the mechanics of how they're able to change the feeling of it so drastically. I really hope it doesn't wear out quickly, and i will update this review if/when it does. This feature is the main reason i was skeptical of the Pro 2. The battery life is much better. I wasn't pleased with the battery capacity of the old Naga Pro. i had to charge that thing every two or three days i think. It wasn't great. This one has lost 1% over the course of 24 hours. From 92% to 91% after the first day's use, so i don't know how much better it is but it's better. As for the wireless charging feature, i can't comment. You have to purchase the 20 dollar puck that fits into the bottom of your mouse but i haven't because i don't own a wireless charging mousepad. It does support wireless charging though, with the additional purchase of that puck thing that fits into the bottom. Also, the soft rubbery crap that's on the sides of the old Naga Pro is gone. It's regular plastic and it's got some kind of very light gnurling texture on it. My thumb rubbed a hole through the rubber coating on the old Naga Pro 6 button panel. So i noticed the difference right away. That's pretty much it. Oh, one more thing. Your old Naga Pro settings profiles need to be exported through the synapse 3 app before you unplug it, and imported again when you swap the mice out, or you need to manually set them up all over again. In my opinion, it's not really worth paying the higher price unless your old Naga Pro is failing somehow. It's pretty much the same mouse. I kind of knew that, but my Naga Pro's scroll wheel was completely worn out. It was almost impossible to use for anything but scrolling. UPDATE: so i've had this thing for six months and kind of like you would expect, the scroll wheel isn't the same. It's very mushy and just trying to roll the mouse wheel forward will cause a click a lot of times. You can barely feel any difference between the very distinct bumps or almost none at all. There are much better scroll wheels. There's one on my old Naga pro, in fact.

BUYER BEWARE! LOW Quality Assurance Issues / 2 Mice Scroll - Wheel Issues
I had to replace this mouse once, after the scroll wheel just randomly stopped working. Amazon was good about dealing with that issue. I've experienced Razer's "customer service" before, and it's HORRIBLE. I now have a new replacement. However, for some reason the Scroll options, the pre-sets you can choose, and modify, have completely stopped working. The ONLY scroll option I have now is a smooth scroll. I have completely shut down their Razer Synapse program, and killed all tasks in the Task Manager, to ensure it is completely shut down. I have done that, and restarted their app (Their app is bad in my opinion), and then killed the tasks, & then restarted the app. It changed nothing. For some reason, this mouse now locks me into a smooth scrolling option, constantly. It's both annoying, and unusable at times. I'm absolutely disgusted by the path Razer has taken regarding Quality, and Customer Service, and honestly, if this type of stuff wasn't occurring with this mouse, TWICE, i'd recommend the purchase. However, after my experiences, i'd recommend you buy from someone else. This is the SECOND exact same mouse, with "scroll wheel" issues, & all within a few months time I believe, based upon initial purchase and then replacement. This is ALSO the 2nd time a Razer mouse has completely crapped out and failed on me. I gave them another chance. This was the LAST time. I will NEVER purchase another low quality, low quality assurance tested mouse, or anything else form them. This is beyond ridiculous at this point. F Razer...i'll go with someone else for all my pc peripherals from this point on. Not only are their products prone to absolute failure a this point, but their customer service is some of the WORST i've ever experienced, and that is saying A LOT. If I could give Razer, & this mouse less than 1 star, I would. They actually demand you send them a VIDEO of the issue, as if that's going to help. All that is for is for them to try to dissuade you from returning their defective pile of crap. Also, it gives them an excuse to claim ignorance. Restarting the synapse program does nothing, even when killing it in task manager. Restarting the pc does nothing. Switching usb ports does nothing. ALL profiles are the same, and all scrolling options are the same, the mouse is STUCK in "smooth" scroll, at all times. This is a RAZER TRASH QUALITY issue, not a pc issue. Here are just a FEW of the issues i've found: 1. https://insider.razer.com/razer-support-45/potential-bug-cycle-up-down-scroll-stages-not-working-with-onboard-profiles-41430 2. https://insider.razer.com/mice-and-surfaces-9/new-razer-naga-v2-proc-scroll-wheel-not-working-67804 3. https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/17b89za/shocking_customer_service_2nd_faulty_razer_naga/ 4. https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/17jtv87/naga_pro_v2_scroll_wheel_issues/ 5. https://insider.razer.com/razer-support-45/naga-v2-pro-scroll-wheel-not-working-63534 6. https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/1eu4ayo/custom_scroll_wheel_profile_on_razer_naga_v2_pro/ 7. https://insider.razer.com/razer-support-45/naga-v2-pro-scrollwheel-issues-43161 8. https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/18zhdur/naga_v2_pro_scroll_issues/ 9. https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/12qolks/razer_naga_v2_pro_huge_on_board_profile_and/ Seriously...AVOID RAZER...ESPECIALLY this mouse...

Great replacement for G604.
I bought this to replace my Logitech G604 which had well worn grips and developed a well known double-clicking issue. I expected at least some adjustment period for the Naga but it felt great right away. I have big hands and the side grips (2 and 6 button side panel) are perfect for the way I hold mice (little bit of arch, not total contact with the top surface; there is no mouse big enough for that). The middle button wheel is fantastic. You have to try it to know how good it is. The only thing I miss from the G604 is the pair of extra buttons at the very front left, but it's a very minor thing.

Best purchase yet
The Razer Naga V2 Hyperspeed is a top-tier wireless MMO mouse, excelling with its 12-button thumb grid and dual-mode, switchable free-spin/tactile scroll wheel. Performance is excellent thanks to the Focus Pro 30K Optical Sensor and low-latency HyperSpeed Wireless, backed by impressive AA battery life (up to 250 hours on HyperSpeed). The main trade-offs are its hefty weight (118g with battery), no built-in rechargeable battery/wired option, and the lack of swappable side plates found on the more expensive V2 Pro model. It's a fantastic choice for palm/claw grip prioritize buttons and long-lasting wireless freedom. The ability to pair with any desktops PC or laptop is simple. Razer offers limitless LED customization through the Chroma RGB app. This house has amazing accuracy and is compatible with all razor tech.

buy it. buy 2 if theres a deal. theres nothing better on the market. software is good.
have to admit admit that while i dont love the razer brand, this mouse is without a doubt the best - as in the most capable/powerful mouse - on the market. scroll wheel side buttons? yes, they work perfectly and are clicky in a good way, not in a bad way. all the buttons are tactile and responsive. i have average size man hands and the mouse is a lot more comfortable for long sessions than other mice ive used, so i'd say the size/comfort/ergonomics all just kind of work if you have medium and small hands. the synapse software is easier and better than the logitech g hub software. it is definitely more powerful, in terms of just what you can actually do with the mouse and all of the buttons. you can have a crazy amount of macros and software launchers and all kinds of stuff. if you go really overboard and use 3rd party software to add another layer of commands and controls you basically have infinite controls/macros. the only flaw i think ive really noticed is that the design of the buttons near the thumb naturally sits - this only happens while gaming - sometimes your thumb may accidently press one of those side thumb g buttons so you need to take that into account or train yourself out of doing that.
