Item as expected, good quality, value for money and fits well.

I bought this for my TomTom Premium X. At night the TomTom lights the whole area around the satnav causing huge blind spots. This solution is good but not perfect. That could be due to the angle of my windscreen. There is still a bit of reflection butt maybe 90% is hidden. The nav slides into the shade and is held securely. It also fits on the mount with no problems. All in all I would much rather drive with this shade than without it. It's also very good in bright sunlight.

Well designed, easy to fit, and it stops reflections on the windscreen, especially at night. It also makes the screen easier to see in bright sunlight. At first, I thought it was blocking a little of the top of screen info, but you just need to nudge it up and that is sorted. The elastic supports seem fairly robust, and could probably be replaced if they ever wear out. A good buy. It doesn't have any 'suction power' but the elastics do the job very well so I gave it 5 stars in that section!

Excellent idea, well made and does what it says. No reflection on windscreen and even in bright sunlight the screen is always visible. Reflections can still be picked up but just adjust the direction of the screen. So why only 3 stars. Firstly no one should base anything on 5 stars as this is almost always false paid for reviews. So 3 stars? Not the best fit for my TomTom 6200. It does fit, don't get me wrong. It doesn't stay that way. First issue is on that can't be fixed purely because of the thing it's supposed to do, restrict light and reflections. The visor part can make it awkward to get your finger through to use touch screen. So easily touch wrong parts of touch screens. Main issue is not a deal breaker but for me it is damn annoying. The very top of the screen is slightly blocked. Now that's ok there is nothing there....... Except your est arrival time in top right corner. It cuts the top half off. Now it has elastic straps to attach it to the sat Nav. These are not tight enough to stop the visor from moving. So I thought, one of my favourite doomsday must have's.... Gaffer tape. If I can secure it so it can't move then problem solved. You'd think! No. Because the visor actually goes on the front, the sat Nav simply goes behind and the only attachment is these elastic straps. So it basically just balances on the front of the unit where the top heavy visor and gravity tend to force it down just enough. whereas what you want is the visor to have the sat Nav part inside or some kind of lip to stop it moving. So for now I have to struggle with the OCD part of me that can't have half a digital time display as in the top half missing If I solve the issue I will update my review. (Excuse the marks all over the sat Nav and visor. Gaffer tape..... The good stuff. Not got round to removing the leftovers)

I bought this to use with a new Garmin DriveSmart 66. I was a bit concerned that the elastics might get in the way of the power socket but it stretches easily to allow the cable to be plugged in. The elastics hold the shade to the unit solidly. Overall very satisfied with the way it fits to reduce sun on the screen.

A brilliant and simple piece of kit. Bought it for a TomTom Go Classic, which is pretty much unusable without it in any kind of sunshine. As others have noted, the screen sits about 1mm too low on the satnav and obscures the time/distance to destination line; which is infuriating. This can be simply solved by glueing a piece of metal or plastic onto the visor to stop it dropping so far on the satnav when installed. Double-sided sticky tape could also be used for a semi-permanent solution.
