If youre gonna buy this definitely buy it from HERE! you go to any fish stores they see the word mug written on your forehead and rinse you out. If you got 120cm width tank upto 300 Litres tank 2 bags is more than enough. Been watching too much YouTube and been wanting the dream set up and finally got it done these look amazing and really make the colour of any fishes pop. Alot of the reviews saying they didnt have to wash them to be honest even when i did rinse them i saw no particles or dirty water being drained was clean already out the bag just your choice if you want to rinse them to be on the safe side. Enjoying that minimalistic look🤩

It's almost black .just enough in my 180 liter cube hospital tank.good price for 8 kilo.very clean tipped in bucket and just a little dust floated to the top maybe a teaspoon. Clear water though straight in tank no discolouration at all. fine sand would perches again.

Described as gravel on package but it is refined sand which is what I wanted. It is a deep charcoal colour as the bottom of my tank is black so that gives a colour comparison but it still looks really smart. I have wood with Java moss and ferns and this gravel is a perfect setting for making the plants ' colour pop'. Enhances the colours of my fish too. I left it to soak in a large bucket for a couple of weeks after washing well. I had no problems with the water in my tank from this sand. 2 packets of sand amply filled my 125 litre tank. Also, the price I paid was very reasonable - very competitive and cheaper than other online sellers and the high street/pet outlets.

Seems fine so far, was surprisingly very clean only rinsed it once and it was clear , I mixed with the Fluval stratum that I already had from previous and there is a noticeable colour difference, seems more of a grey then black against the stratum but it don’t look too bad

Great sand / replaced my entire aquarium sand as had snail infestation. Minimal clouding of water , cleared by filter within a couple of hours .

Really impressed with this fine gravel! Yes it's not jet black like some customers have complained but I actually really like the dark grey colour. It looks great in the tank and when cleaning it beforehand barely any dust came out of it at all. Would highly recommend especially at this price! Same size of bag will set you back £18 in a well known pet shop chain. Added to a 50l tank and still have half a bag. Can't fault this at all.

Great value for money and a bit bigger grains than sand. The black ends up a dark grey underwater which is a nice tone. Didn’t even rinse it off and did t cloud the water. Paid £15 a bag last time - NOW IT IS £85 A BAG. THAT'S CRAZY

Good value but your really do have to rinse the crap out of this. Lots of dust and whatnot...even after several rinses made a sort of scum on tank surface
