Q: Do you get both black and white?

It's says it's a twin pack of white/black so yes. You should do, on my first attempt I only got one, it was incredibly difficult to explain that to anyone, I reordered and got the two, but couldn't return the single one, no one would listen to me! So I ended up paying twice and in the end had two white and one black. I gave up.

Q: Is this elastic suitable for using as a shor strap for my daughters ballet style school shoes?

I'd say so! I used it on some wings for my Halloween costume, it's sturdy and at 1.2mm, probably perfect for ballet-style shoe straps.

Q: Is it iron on or stitch on?

This product is not Iron On, it is to be stitched onto or into fabrics or used in other applications.
