I use one of the belts to help my person into a chair because the couch is too low for them to get up from. Works very well. The belts are all adjustable, so you do not have a problem fitting them. Very easy to use, and the belts are well-made.

I actually give it 4.5*s. It's sooo much better than just that woven cloth strap. There are plenty of handles to get a hold of and support someone walking or getting in and out of chairs/ bed. etc. It seems really well made. My only criticisms would be the plastic buckle in the front. It can be a little cumbersome to snap it SECURELY. You need to be very careful in ensuring that it is in fact buckled firmly. There's a snap... but there's also a SNAP. You REALLY need to hear the loud one! I Also wish perhaps there was a Velcro type cinch or something to tighten the belt after you have it on the person to make it fit more snug, unless I've missed understood how to size it.

This is by far the best and most used item I bought for my dad to come home from rehab after losing a leg. Very strong, does the job well. The buckle slips and have to re-adjust to fit his waist often, but otherwise this is the perfect product.

This was recommended by a friend and truly arrived just when I was desperate for help, literally. I'm in my 70's, hubby in 80's, by ourselves. He recently came home from the hospital and could barely walk. Maybe TMI, but it was approaching 10 pm. He couldn't, even with me using all my strength, get off the commode. I checked the front door and the package arrived. Tore open the packaging. Simple to figure out how to use. This one just goes around the middle with seven potential lift loops. Fastens like a child's high chair buckle, only stronger. So glad it didn't have to go around his legs or under him. Got it around him. I was able to help lift him so he could stand up, accompany him to the nearby bed. For less than $20, this is an outstanding value. I obviously highly recommend it!

Could not adjust the belt tight enough to hold up my mom. She's a very heavy lady and the belt kept slipping. I ended up returning it.

Not suitable for fully disabled person, could be effective with person have some body mobility.

Purchase this to help maneuver my mother around worked really well, fit around her as a plus size woman. Decent quality we were very happy with it.

My dad had progressive supranuclear palsy and it really helped him from falling. We were able to hold on to him without hurting him or ourselves. I highly recommend this.
