Very good value.
I've had the opportunity to cook on it three times so far. Each time the grill has made me look good. The rib eyes turned out perfectly and the burgers last night were awesome. It fires up quickly and cooks really well. I experienced even heat distribution with minimal flare up. Overall the build was fairly easy with the exception of the side burner flex tubes. They're a little stubborn but will submit and mount in their space. Once assembled it has a look of a much more expensive grill. The lighted dials are a show off but adds a touch of class. I've already had complements on it. Time will be the ultimate judge but for now I feel that I've made the best choice at that price point. If you're looking for an inexpensive grill that has good looks as well as a quality fire box this is the one for you.

Great grill that will last
I've had this for almost 3 years now and its holding up great. Zero rust even with forgetting to put the cover back on before it rains many times. I do try to keep it oiled and i wipe down the exterior with wd40 every so often. Its a great grill and will last many years if you take care of it. It fires up right away every time and I haven't even needed to replace the igniter battery yet. My only gripe is the side sear burner. It works and gets extremely hot, but it gives steaks a very strong chemical taste and pretty much ruins them. Maybe im using it at too high of a temperature I dont know.

Good value for what you get
Overall I like this grill. Stainless steel looks nice, design is functional, fairly sturdy. I want to emphasize that I would buy this grill again — that said … A couple things to be aware of. 1) some assembly required. Not bad, took me 2.5 hours mostly by myself. Instructions are pretty good by today’s standards. 2) some parts were bent out of shape but I was able to bend them back so they would work and now you almost can’t tell to look at the grill. Customer service responded quickly and appropriately when I contacted them about this issue. 3) The casters do not appear to be very robust. I want to be able to move this grill around the back yard but I’m going to be very carful how I move it. My guess is it wouldn’t be too hard to damage a wheel. I’m going to keep it on a cement porch and walkway and I think it will be fine. 4) Lastly, and this is not a criticism, just an observation, don’t think that when you turn on all six burners that each one will be able to go full blast. The gas pressure from a 20 lb LP tank has a limit. They will all work and get hot but if you want full blast you will want to run only a few at a time at maximum. Again, I am happy with this grill so far and I believe it will serve me well. I’m not trying to talk you out of buying one. I’m simply reporting some observations from my experience.

A steal for this quality at this price
Awesome. Best built grill I have seen in years. Super easy assembly - took an hour and everything fir PERFECTLY!!! Even cooking and flame control is excellent. Instructions were clear and hardware was well labeled. Anyone that complains about this grill would also complain about winning the lottery. Do not hesitate - buy this if you want a fair priced quality grill !

Beautiful Grill Well Packaged & All Parts Included
Disclaimer: I haven't been able to find propane yet so I haven't grilled anything - but I was so impressed with the careful packaging, assembly instructions and appearance that I wanted to start my review now and will add later once I fire it up! I did a lot of research before choosing Monument Grills, and although this model was higher than I'd budgeted for, it had very good reviews on multiple sites. The Amazon price was $50 cheaper than the manufacturer site and the same on several other sites. Between the included assembly instructions and some YouTube videos I was able to assemble in about 2 hours by myself. Warning - there are a LOT of parts and it pays to take your time and follow instructions in order. Everything went together smoothly, only needed a screwdriver and patience. Definitely recommend getting a quality grill cover to avoid excessive moisture - and based on the main complaint in reviews being early signs of surface rust, probably a good idea to dry off all surfaces before covering. Very good warranty and fingers crossed it works as good as it looks! I'll include images when I get the propane and fire it up.

Great Value...Proud to say I'm a Monument Man.
When I needed a new grill (my big name brand grill needed an overhaul after 12 years), I looked around and I was shocked at the prices for a grill from that brand with side burner, sear station and good quality - easily $1100 plus. So the hunt began across usual places...On Amazon, I came across this grill and after doing some internet searches, I knew this was the grill for me... I could not be happier with my purchase. We grill out 2-3 times a week during the summer, so I need a grill that will hold up and be flexible to span what my family wants to eat for a meal in one station and not have to cook on the grill and in the kitchen. Since I've had it, I easily used it 20+ times, and not a single issue or complaint. Pros: - Consistent heat temp across the grill - Full function: sear, side warmer, heating rack, grill size (I'll be ordering the rotisserie feature soon to complete everything I'll need) - Well designed and durable (yes, it is light weight Stainless Steel vs heavy SS, but for my needs its perfect) - Easy to keep clean Cons - Installation took about an hour, and there's 1-2 steps that consume most of the time with awkward angles for screws (Amazon offers free installation services from time to time...ie Prime Days) Net-Net: You will be hard pressed to find a better grill at this price point. Better buy now before the secret gets out. Amazon Suggestion: When searching for grills, Monument does not appear as one of the Brands in the drop down. This is a shame and needs to be corrected.

Still love it a year later -
I bought this grill last summer, put it together just after the 4th of July (yeah, I know, I should have ordered earlier!). It was easy for me, a 60 year old, to put together by myself. It looks great but more importantly, it cooks fantastically. Love the cast-iron grates, and I love how it looks when it's all lit up. One note of caution, however, if you leave the batteries in their housing, the lights will stay on and your batteries will drain. I now just put the batteries in if I'm cooking at night or having friends over, I don't really need it to be lit up otherwise...though it is pretty! Built well, sear burner works great, I expect I'll get years of grilling pleasure from this grill!

So Far, So Good...
I bought this grill to replace a 15-year-old BBQ Grillware grill that had served me well, but was at the end of its useful life. Since BBQ Grillware is no longer available, I had to buy something else. Based on what I could determine from internet research, as well as looking at grills in the local stores, this Monument Grill seemed to represent a value point on the scale of quality/features vs. price. In terms of features, the grill certainly delivers. It features 4 burners in the main compartment, a warming burner on the side, an option to select either a searing burner or a rotisserie accessory, cast iron grates, and stainless-steel housing. It puts out A LOT of heat. (The instructions even warn you NOT to leave the cover down with the grill on high except during heat up. I suspect this is what happened to the grill shown in the picture associated with one of the comment photos showing stained, rusted metal after 6 months.) In terms of quality, ask me again in 10 years. It’s been good for the first 2 months, but a brand-new grill ought to be. In response to some of the comments, the metal did seem to be a little flimsier than that on my old BBQ Grillware grill, but the “fit and finish” is fine. In conclusion, there are no red flags, but only time will tell. The other comments I want to address involve assembly. I would characterize it as moderately complex. I had help from my adult son, who is very mechanically inclined (he’s an engineer), and he put it together easily in less than two hours. I am not particularly mechanically inclined and probably could have put it together by myself (with the help of another set of hands for a few of the steps), although I would have struggled with it at times and it would have taken me half the day. However, unless you’re totally incompetent with a screwdriver, I wouldn’t let assembly issues deter you. Four stars on price, value, features, and short-term quality, with long-term quality to be determined.
