The Body Shop Almond Milk Body Yogurt – Instantly Absorbing Hydration from Head to Toe – For Sensitive Skin – Vegan – 6.91 oz

This is the body butter to use. It is liquid enough a texture to use, but solid enough not to fall off your fingers. I have some body butters from the same company that is stiff like Chapstick. (WARNING: It is their other aroma body butters that are NOT so buttery. I've bought over three of these stiff body butters that you have to dig out with your nails. Yuck.). It also has a not so offensive aroma. (I hate how most butters clash with my perfumes and colognes and burn my nose.) I can go through this stuff in a month because is is so good. I wish I could buy it in a quart container. Does it work? You betcha, baby. I have renal pruritis (itch) that wakes me up in the middle of the night. I slather this on, and I can fall back asleep toot-sweet. Not having a loudly, odiferous butter on also helps me sleep.

I have skin allergies and eczema and my skin is fickle and sensitive when it comes to moisturizing that I must do after every shower. For years dermatologists were telling me to use cream instead of lotion for longer lasting moisturizing effects. So, I have used either CeraVe, Aveeno or Vannie cream. They are not bad but their creams are all quite thick and if I put on too much, my skin gets eczematous just from the thickness. And once the eczema flares up, there is little I can do except to wait for the inflammation to die down on its own. So, I have realized over the years that preventing a breakout by finding a good moisturizer is key. I had tried different Body Shop body butters but the fragrances (or something else), you guessed it, caused my eczema to flare up. I decided to give this a try because of the light scent and high water content compared with creams. This suits my skin very well. It does not feel greasy and locks in moisture for around a day for me. It is a little pricey for a 6oz jar. Actually, years ago I found something comparable at a fraction of the price of this British product. It's Jergen Wet Skin almond oil. It works similarly but they have since discontinued the product. Wish wish wish more Body Shop products were available. The yogurt in particular is very lightweight, all scents smell great, and seep into your skin almost immediately. The scent lasts from the moment you put it on till when you take a shower and so does the softness and the happy aura that it gives you.

Purchase this item to compare with the l'occitane Almond milk lotion which i really enjoy but its out of my price range. If you are looking for a dupe for that lotion in particular i will say is not exact match but pretty damn close. For the price if definitely worth a try. My only negative/deduction will be for the lack of bottle size i would love it even more if there were options for a 20-30oz bottle so im not having to replenish as often.

The Body Shop Almond Yogurt body creme is an outstanding product. It is light, delicately scented, and wonderfully easy to apply. Never greasy, it leaves my skin feeling moist and soothed. I have put this creme on subscription because I never want to run out.

Smells fantastic. Consistency is like yogurt. Moisturizer that is not so heavy. Absorbs nicely.

I have always used the body yogurt from Body Shop. It is a clear gel-based moisturizer that is highly scented. I can jump out of the shower and apply then smell amazing all day long with glowing skin. The yogurt is lightweight and dries without any greasy feel. They closed all of the Body Shops in the US and now I have to pay double to triple to order from Amazon. So sad.

Both are excellent products. Delivered on time.
