LEGO Rock Band - Game Only (Wii)

We received the Band in a Box instrument kit for Christmas as a family present and bought the Beatles Rock band and Lego Rock Band games to play with it. I had never played this type of game before and was a bit worried that it would be a bit hard for my 8 year old (and me) but I have to say that it is fantastic fun! The only thing I would say is that some of the songs are a bit of a strange choice for a game with the Lego branding. I don't mean that they are unsuitable but just a little obscure for a game aimed at the current Lego generation who are probably aged 7 - 14. Elton John for example?! Despite that I would highly recommend this game as it is a great family way to have fun!

My kids are 7 and 9 and they love this, much easier for them than the guitar hero games. Would have given 5 stars if they had more songs that the kids new.

Nice little twist on the Rock Band genre. The graphics are a little dark and look a little rushed for my liking but, my 5 year old thinks it's great. Great tunes too. Rock and pop. We've manage to avoid the Lost Prophets track

Bought for an 8 year old birthday. Fun for the whole family (we are all using this on different difficulty settings) we have has LOTS of fun with this! very funny watching an 8 year old rock out!

We bought this for our 6 year old for xmas, he loves Rock band ACDC and lego so we thought it would be a perfect combination. He has played it once, however me and his Dad (guitar hero fans) have played it loads, and are totally hooked! Good songs, and the lego characters are superb and so cute! Great family entertainment (or 6 year old plays on the second level so its suitable for most ages.)

I bought this for my son, aged 10, as he has wanted guitar hero/rock band for a while, but they are rated age 15 and I was concerned about them. So we were delighted when the Lego brand brought their version out, as we have had and enjoyed all the other lego Wii and DS games.Imagine my son's disappointment when he received the game and found it would not work without either one of the instruments or a USB microphone, of which we had neither!! Why does it not say in the product information that these items are needed to play the game??? I am now left with the prospect of buying other items to play this with - without any recommendations of which guitar etc to buy (as according to their reviews not all the guitars work with all the games).

Lego Rock band is excellent fun.The songs are great and with the "super easy" mode kids can play too.My 3 year old is a bit too young for the game, doesn't quite get it. My 5 Year old loves it.The tour mode is much the same as RB/RB2 but the characters are all lego men. :) It works well.

This has kept the kids occupied since Christmas and they are still desperate to play all the time! They have friends over specially to fill all the roles. Even Mum and Dad get to join in on occasion! Great fun for everyone.
