I bought this for a project where I will be using lots of 4x2 and the Kreg jig I had was too small. I tried this out and I am extremely impressed with the ease of use and the enormous strength of the joint it creates. I know this will help me put together my project quickly and much more accurately than I ever could without it. It has given me the confidence to tackle it and I can't wait to start. My only disappointment is there is no box to keep it all in. Badly needed when there are so many parts to make it work.

I have used this jig for a few projects. I'm a beginner and this pocket-hole jig makes my work a little easier. I like simple instructions and easy set up. If i can figure out how to use this jig, i will go the extra mile and say EVERYONE can. I do believe that the price is too expensive and there is absolutely no reason why it should be that high. Like always.. BRAND! Not everything expensive is best - my motto. With that said.. this jig is great, if you willing to fork out the money.

Für den Rahmenbau aus VKH (Konstruktionsvollholz) ein unverzichtbares Werkzeug. Die Handhabung ist kinderleicht und ohne Anleitung kann man sofort loslegen. Unerlässlich ist die Verwendung von Schraubzwingen oder Einhandzwingen. Ich verwende welche von Bessey, die sind top! Achtung!!! Die mitgelieferten langen Bit‘s sind für Vierkantschrauben. (Amerika) Für Spaxschrauben muss noch ein Torx T30 bestellt werden.

You can get away with regular pocket holes for 2x4” lumber but the XL size will give you a stronger hold, especially if joining to other larger, heavier pieces. You need to get the Kreg XL size screws to go with it but you can use any generic large gauge screws if you prefer.

Reçu en bon état et semble correct quoique pas encore essayé. Dommage qu'il n'y ait que 2 épaisseurs de bois mentionnées sur le foret car j'utilise souvent du 12 mm d'épaisseur et là cela ne commence qu'à 1,5 pouces soit 38mmm

I’ve never used pocket holes until now, but I definitely won’t be going back to the old way. Building an outdoor kitchen with 4x4 and 2x4 framing. These pocket holes are much stronger than the usual methods, and I’ve now drilled at least 100 holes with this unit with no signs of wearing out. It’s idiot-proof to use, simple and effective. Make sure you buy lots of extra screws for it because you’ll definitely be using this forever.
