Cool 1/64 rendition of Max's Persuit Special. With the nice paint job and trunk lid intact, this repro is obviously from the first film "Mad Max". Greenlight did such a great job with this version, they should do a version from the second film "The Road Warrior" where the car is weathered and beaten with the auxiliary fuel tanks where the trunk lid was. Awesome little car.

It's a nice matchbox sized recreation of the Mad Max V8 Interceptor. It's based on the car from the first movie from 1979, since there are no gas tanks in the back, and it's not dusty from wasteland driving. The engine may sit a little lower than the one in the movie, but it has that awesome MFP decal on each front fender and the steering wheel is on the proper side. I would suggest displaying it, or playing with it gingerly to avoid breaking the plastic exhaust pipes, as they do seem a little frail. All in all, it's a beautiful little piece and I would recommend it to anyone who loves Mad Max or matchbox cars.
