Large gains in fringe area
Huge improvement in performance in a fringe area, your milage may vary. Galaxy phone on 5g showing 3 -4 bars as a base test @ speedtest 138mbps connected to MR6550 att unlocked 158mbps without antenna at 3 bars, with antenna connected 5 bars at 196mbps a 39mbps increase and a decent latency decrease. Note the connectors ts9 adapters are very tight, but sma allows for a quick disconnect if needed. Cable length is about 3 ft

Does increase download speed, but signal strength remains the same
At first I thought that it was not working properly, since this antenna has the same number of bars as the antennas that came with my modem and I was about to return it. However a speedtest showed that the download speed increased from 18mps with external coil wire antennas to 24 mbps with the netgear. I will probably keep using the coil antennas when we are out camping and cellular reception is poor to none exsitent and keep the netgear around the house when I use the 4g as failover solution.

SPY BOX ANTENNA ---- PERSISTENT COOKIE REQUIREMENT OF ROUTER
Antenna doesn't render significant improvement in signal strength, at all. You could get this level of performance out of something far less expensive. In short.......it's a NetGear rip off. So, after I get everything hooked up and going, I am hit with another surprise: the NetGear NightHawk M1 is a personal information collector and snoop --- as it requires a mandatory persistent cookie be kept on your browser, at all times, before NetGear will allow its device to supply you internet. After many attempts at avoiding this, I have found: the device shuts off your data, after clearly supplying it for a short period of time, if the cookie has been removed. Obviously, what you are doing online is of serious interest to NetGear. Anyone can reasonable conclude: your online activity is being collected, for probably.........sell. On another less important note: strangely, this antenna is not compatible with the NetGear NightHawk M1 - despite having what are described as SMA connectors included with it. SMA connectors are what fit on the NightHawk M1's TS9 antenna leads --- but, these SMA connectors were too small, for some reason, and did not fit the M1. I had to purchase a larger SMA adapter cable to attach this antenna to the M1 --- ofcourse, more money and hassle ---- the NetGear experience as a whole; I am finding.

Works!
Works with regular M6. Paired with cable extenders is perfect when having your device indoors with outdoor reception. Mine is placed on a window and the differences are notable for my overseas trip as max 4g speeds where I'm at are 25mpbs (non peak hours). So any extra reception is noticeable otherwise i would have to leave my hotspot outside to the elements. Worth the purchase.

Works better than my two Hi-gain magmount antennas
Works better, and has improved my signal, better than my two "hi-gain" mag-mount antennas and takes up much less space. I live in very rural northern Maine and my cell tower is less than two miles away but still had a weak signal. This NetGear antenna is attached by suction cups to my window facing the cell tower and is connected to an Inseego FX2000 router. I did buy a TS9 pigtail adapter for this antenna. The installation was fast. I positioned it in an upstairs bedroom and as high as I could in the window. The Inseego router is on a small knick-knack shelf above the window using an extension cord. US Cellular is my carrier. I would buy this again.

Wifi drops packets, wifi offloading is nice
Pros: • Can connect to existing wifi (i.e.: starlink, campground wifi, starbucks wifi, etc, a.k.a. data offloading), to re-distribute internet to your personally created wifi network or LAN • Has an ethernet port for LAN • Has split 5Ghz/2.4Ghz wifi broadcasts (some devices don't like when they're combined) • Allows VPN tunnelling • Access to text messages sent to SIM card/phone number, which is useful for 2FA, carrier messages, etc. • Allows IP Passthrough (the router acts as a modem solely) • Allows enable/disable of DHCP service from router • Has 2 radio antenna extender ports Cons: • Display is nice, but tough to use. Better off using the web page. • DNS settings would NEVER work for me. It has a section where you can set a DNS IP, but no devices would ever get these IPs. I know some routers set themselves as the DNS provider, then forward all requests to the IP you set, but not this router. I could not access my pihole or other LAN devices via FQDN, only IPs. That kind of sucks. • Every single change requires a reboot. EVERY. LITTLE. CHANGE. • Every reboot, the system would NEVER turn back on. Its almost as if "reboot" = "shutdown". Keep the device within reach if you plan on making any changes. • Drops packets every 45 seconds or so. I ran a continuous ping to google.com and it resolved the IP no problem, ran the pings no problem at around 30ms each, but then it'll just jump up to 250ms, then "Request timed out" once, then back to normal. 45secs later, it'll jump to 250ms, then "Request timed out", and so on. Seems like it can't handle a normal workload. For comparison, I connected to my Starlink router in the same location, ran a ping to google.com and never had any dropped packets or "Request timed out" replies. This is a secondary form of internet for me now as it's performance is hardly reliable. I can't set DNS to be my pihole, and I really don't feel like setting DNS individually for all my wifi devices. I can't have consistent internet if the router is underpowered and dropping packets. Too bad I'm outside my return window now, otherwise I would have returned this.

Easy install
Great addition to the M6 pro. Would have connection issues when putting the m6 in the glove department. So making the switch to the device being hidden in the trunk and attached to the back window is a great space saver and with better connection

Antenna veramente efficace , aumenta molto il segnale upload e download, il primo aumenta di circa 20 Mega, il secondo di circa 200 Mega , questo deve essere inteso, nella mia zona geografica naturalmente, ben strutturata e piatta, peccato pe i cavetti di collegamento corti, 2 Mt sarebbero stati più che esaustivi. Le ventose per supporto su vetro o superfice liscia, praticamente inefficaci ..... visto il prezzo del prodotto sarebbe stato carino fossero di migliore qualità, il route dove è stata provata l'antenna è un M6 Pro

External Antenna for Nighthawk M6 Pro. very functional and greatly increases reception

Connected to Telstra 5G Netgear Nighthawk M6 Pro (MR6500). While travelling for a vacation, had poor reception (0-1 bars from 5) at hotel. With 1 bar had between 3 and 15mbps download and 1.5mbps upload speeds. After connecting this antenna signal increased to 2 bars consistently and download speeds were at minimum 20mbps (going as high as 80mbps) and uploads were around 5mbps. It’s worth noting the packaging states “Ideal for use in low signal areas, best facing Mobile Signal tower.” I have tried the antenna in other marginal locations and can confirm it does boost the signal. I also tried in areas where the signal is already strong and the antenna delivered similar or slightly worse performance than the inbuilt antenna, as others have reported. Be sure to reboot the device after connecting the antenna. Lightweight, compact and affordable product. Highly recommend.
