Highly Recommend: Beginner, hobby, pro - seems to be capable for all.
I have a Hohner Blues Harp that Santa brought me (!) Christmas 1980. Played it on and off then mislaid it for a few years. Bought an inexpensive instrument when my interest was recently rekindled. It was “okay” but my advice is to spend the £30, or thereabouts, on one of these or a Marine Band. They have stood the test of time, consistently good and should last a while. I did find my original and this remains true to that 44y/o model. Highly recommended.

Great sound
I bought this as a present for my uncle, as he used to own one a long time ago. He loves it and it's sounds great. Great for beginners and more advanced players too, value for money.

Hohner - the best
This C harp was to replace my 30yr old Hohner C Harp, I also have a A harp of the same age that is still fine. These harps are of study workmanship and the sound is second to none. There are cheaper alternatives on the market but I doubt they would stand the test of time. As with all Hohner harps I have had, these bed in quickly and are so comfortable to play. I always clean mine regularly, warm them up with gentle exercises which I believe adds to their longevity. I am not a professional musician.

Great little harp
The Blues Harp is a good sounding harp to learn on. The only down side I can find is that it is slightly smaller than I thought it would be. I have big hands so it should be ok for the average user. It seems well made and sturdy and should last many years if looked after. I found it easy to bend those blues notes and it produced a loud open sound--but don"t force it. A great little harp to gain experience on before moving up to something more suited to the playing style you end up playing. And a good price too. Very happy with my purchase.

Great Harp.
I bought this harp a few months ago along with the Blues Harp From Scratch book & CD. This is a great harp to learn on & to progress, also used by many professional players. Really comfortable to play, great bluesy sound, I was bending the 4 Draw within an hour or so. Comes with a sturdy plastic case which clips on to other MS cases. I really can't fault this harp, it's my favourite of three , the others being Fender Blues Deluxe in A, & Easttop 008K in D.

When it comes to playin the blues, the Hohner Blues Harp MS Series can't be beat. Hohner has earned their reputation for quality harmonicas over the decades which not only is reflected in this line of harps, it shines! The playability of this instrument is incredible! Notes bend easily, play cleanly, and have a tone quality that is perfect for the blues. Additionally, the MS series has the ability to be rebuilt and reworked to your specifications. The abbreviation "MS" stands for Modular System, an integrated concept in harmonica design. All individual MS parts (combs, reed plates and covers) can be combined and integrated with any of the MS harmonicas. Customize your harp with features that matter to you. Simple screw connections allow for easy assembly. Screws also allow for easy access to the reed plates, giving the player the ability to adjust the instrument to their own personal requirements. Regardless of whether purchasing new, or used, if you are a blues man, this is the line of harps for you; Superior tone quality, easy to achieve hot licks, flexible by design. This is a winner! Available in 12 major keys. Check out the complete details at: [...]
