Rock Solid Spare Tire Mount... Even Strong Enough as a Step!
This spare tire bracket is incredibly sturdy and well made. It was very easy to install with just a wrench, and it holds the tire firmly in place with no rattling or shifting. The design is smart, with a nice finish that looks durable and clean. Even though it’s rated for 150 lbs, I’m over 200 lbs and have been using it as a step to climb into my boat. It holds solid with no issues at all. Definitely impressed with the strength and quality. Highly recommend for anyone needing a reliable spare tire carrier!

Very heavy duty and solid
Solid spare tire carrier. I have no doubts it will last longer than the life of the trailer. Installation was simple.

Works well, you may need a shim since the carriage bolts are not threaded all the way.
The product seems very sturdy and holds the tire well. However the instructions show carriage bolts threaded all the way down. The ones that came where only threaded part of the way along the bolt. This required me to add a shim in order to tighten the carrier to the 2 inch thick channel bar of the trailer. Note the wood shim fits inside the channel bar and has a notch for the trailer wiring and slightly round edges on the inside since the channel bar is rounded on the inside. Note: the maximum vertical distance between bolts is 6 inches. So if you beam you are attaching too is greater than that you would need to drill holes in the beam (Mine was ~5 1/2 inches and worked fine).

good and strong fits ok but if angle iron draw bar you will need a filler in the angle to square the carrier up no big deal I used a timber block worked great
