Chemical Guys JetSeal Matte Sealant and Paint Protectant 16oz

There’s so many bad reviews on this product and I was very careful when using. First I started with a test patch on the lip of my rear bumper as that’s covered up by the boot lid. I first cleaned the car and dried then applied with a sponge applicator. During the test it left no shine on the car left my grey matte. The second thing I noticed was leaving it on for the 20 mins before wiping still allowed the product to wipe off ok. On applying to the whole car it was quite hot and when removing after getting half way around it was a little harder to remove but with a spray of Chem guy detailer it came off fine. There’s so many bad reviews for product and I can only imagine they’re applying it too think and leaving it too long. Always do a test patch!

Do not buy this. I followed the instructions exactly, on a cool try day, left on for exactly 20 min. Left white steaks all over that are almost impossible to remove. I don't leave review often, but this product is shocking.

I bought this to seal a brand new Matt black finish. It leaves horrible grey residue that is virtually impossible to get off. Even with a machine polish I only succeeded in scoring the new paint. Luckily I tried on the inside of a door and not an outside panel. Avoid at all costs.

I have a factory matte/satin finish on my car and was always trying to find the best way to protect my paint without using any wax that will create a shine. I've used the entire Matte Finish product set from Chemical Guys and have been really happy with all of them

I applied it exactly as recommended left it 20 minutes sharp after wiping it off the shock happened Left white steaks all over !

Absolutely fantastic product. Helps restore the matte finish of my matte royal metal grey in classic350.

Applied it in Sept 2022 to my 2015 Harley SGS in matte black. Looks awesome, perfect matte finish restored. I was so happy to get around to it that applied it like a total retard, quick and messy. I applied to whole bike, so it dried a lot longer than the recommended 20 minutes. So it was a little hard to get off. I did not use any detailer to remove the sealer. I just used extra micro fiber cloths, and it shined up great. I did apply it to cool bike in the evening shade, still about 85 ambient temp. After I completed it, I read the reviews. I'm not sure what conditions resulted in other bad reviews. I will recommend this product.
