I purchased this as a gift for my husband’s birthday - we both love camaro’s and he has had his eyes on this one for a while. Very high quality and legit lego set! We built it together and he absolutely loves it, he plans to put it on his desk at work! It was definitely bigger than other Lego car sets we’ve had and we were surprised by just how big it is but we love it! It was so much fun to put together (Legos are fun for adults, too!) and we had it done within a weekend just working on it in the evenings together. (I organize and hand him the correct pieces and he builds) ;) Overall I’d say it was a great purchase! Husband is very happy, the wheels turn, the trunk and hood can open, they’ve got fuzzy dice for the rear view mirror which is so cute. And the stripes / seat colors are customizable which we appreciate as well! We had a lot of extra small pieces just in case any went missing but we had every single piece we needed and it was truly a great memory to build together. :)

I bought this for my 16 year old daughter. She had been asking for it for months.. when I got a little extra money, I thought I would surprise her. She was absolutely thrilled when she opened the package, And immediately, without hesitation, started building her Camero. She put it together over the course of that night and the next day. She was so happy and proud.. and for good reason. It's an amazing piece. Me only thought, is that something to build that costs this much, should come with some kind of adhesive. Legos are expensive and I hate to think it may get knocked over or something. She also has the led light kit now. And the car looks absolutely beautiful!

This Lego car was fun to build and I've enjoyed having it displayed on my bookshelf. It was relatively straightforward and easy to build. I would probably recommend it for somebody 10 and up.

Being a muscle car fan, I was always interested in building this model. It was a little on the pricy side, but it had a very good design, very clever details, and was fun to put together. I have also enjoyed swapping out the color of the racing stripes after I finished it.

This was amazing. I’m in my 30s, I used to play with legos all the time as a kid. I’d come up with my own stuff and they were just the best. I don’t build a lot, but I did this over a few days and it was some of the most enjoyment I’ve had. The way they are able to design these, the creativity, it felt as I built this replica of an old car, like I was going back in the day and experiencing the same patience and care of how they designed and built older vehicles. Every part had a purpose, and it wasn’t lessened to save money. I bought this a few years ago and am not even done yet but I just have to say, I love it.

Saw this Lego Icons set and just had to get it. Looks great, well detailed representation of a '69 Z28. Fun build. Ability to chose stripe colors red/white/gray, convertible or hard top, RS headlight covers...really can personalize this build to your liking. Instruction book is cool, it is made to look like old showroom book with facts about the car throughout 300+ instruction steps. Added LED light kit which really brings it over the top. Oddly...many extra small pieces, I triple checked book and didn't miss anything, I even compared to master build list at back of the book and they really did just provide too many small parts.

Don't have any photos, but bought this for my Dad as he had a real one about 40 years ago that he wrecked... May not have been able to buy another real one, but I could at least get him the Lego version. He really enjoyed building it and said he didn't know Lego's could get so meticulous

Although it uses a few stickers, I still love how much detail the Lego designers put into this set!!! 🚘🚗 The postives: 1. Customability: You can choose the Stripe color, front lights, roof style, and license plate!!! 2. Connected Steering wheel: Some of Lego's buildable cars don't have the Steering connected to the wheels, but it's always nice to have, especially for moc builders!!! Negatives: 1. The previously mentioned Stickers: Whatever the reason for this by Lego themselves idk why, but I recommend using separator tool as a guide whenever you plan to apply stickers onto parts. 2. Possibly weak wheel axles: This is my very first Lego car that I've built, but I'm not sure how durable the latest building process is for the wheels. Apparently this use of the smaller #4666579 4-prong connectors are a recent build change. Maybe the wheels will still be fine over time, but just something I thought was important to bring up.

I have made almost a dozen Lego models that are realistic but this Camaro is great and I would say it is better than the Lego Classic Ford Mustang GT due to a bit more choices that you have. You can choose from three different colour of strips, hardtop or convertible a few different types of headlights and taillights. The Mustang is ether stock or a tuned up hot rod, which is great but no chance to make it more original that puts your options of colours on it like you can do on this Camaro.
