Women's Rococo Ball Gown Gothic Victorian Dress Costume Navy Blue Flower

I love this dress. I wish I could wear it to some tea party my husband got invited to tonight. Wasn’t invited, though. Pretty late for a tea party, anyway. I was unable to zip it because I am a little too big, but I know I have been losing weight, so it wouldn’t make sense to get a M because that would have been too big, anyway. It is tight around the shoulders, so it’s hard to take off and put on, but I find it necessary so the neck line can look as authentic as possible. The fabric seems nice quality and not cheap. I plan to wear this in public. Why not? It’s pretty and good quality. Didn’t tear as I and a friend struggled taking it off. Oh, and I just want to clarify that I didn’t anticipate it zipping up easily when I bought it. It’s hard when you have a large waist and no bust to find a proper size, y’know?

This company is amazing. I needed a dress ASAP for an amazing costume party at the palace of Versailles. I live in NYC and had been looking to rent a costume for months, but I am 5 feet tall and no one had a dress that would be short enough and I couldn't alter the costume unless I bought one. I looked at all the different costumes available on Amazon. I am a bit of a stickler for historical accuracy and this company's sample looked the most accurate. The company takes your measurements and creates a dress to your specifications. Plus it was CHEAPER to have them custom make it than it would have been to rent a costume! I told them I needed it in two weeks if that was possible and they did it! I even asked for certain colors and they were totally cool with that. The result was beautiful. The dress even comes with the panniers (hip bumps) that you tie separately underneath. The people we so nice, responsive, and accommodating and the final product was more beautiful that I could have anticipated. I had so many compliments from other party goers. I can't recommend them enough.

If you're on the fence about buying this dress, do it! It fit me perfectly and looks beautiful. It's obviously not the same quality as the dresses that cost hundreds of dollars but for the price, it can't be beat. I am not technically skilled enough to sew this type of dress and didn't want to bust the bank buying one. This is the best of both worlds. I bought a small and often the sleeves on garments will be too tight on me but this wasn't. The sleeve is very roomy. I like this dress particularly because it is made of cotton so it's not a super fake feeling material. The dark blue front is polyester and I plan on replacing it but still, I highly recommend this. The lace on the sleeves is really soft which is nice. I'm wearing this with one of the half hoop petticoats sold by the same seller. Perfect cheap 18th century dress.

Dress fit well for the most part. I wish it could be cinched somehow... you would not be able to get it over your head if it were taken in though. The dress was very comfortable I purchased it for a Daughters of American Revolution Luncheon. It was incredibly difficult to find a dress that was within my budget that also matched the dress criteria for the era. This was very close. I am 5'7" and anything shorter with the added hips would not have worked. I would definitely recommend this dress for purchase. I had to steam it to get the wrinkles out. I received a lot of compliments and highly recommend it.

I cannot believe the craftsmanship of this dress. The fabrics used have an expensive look and texture. Perfectly sewn! Fit is perfect - with a hidden side zipper. I have paid much more for a lot less from other vendors. I am totally thrilled with my purchase!

Thankfully my size was available for prime, so it came within two days. I ordered a small, it was a little big in the waist so I will definitely be getting that taken in. Wore a hoop skirt and hemmed the dress accordingly. Recieved many compliments, it was super comfortable as well! Also, I am nursing and this is definitely not nursing friendly (which I wasn't expecting), but I wasn't in the dress long enough for that to be an issue. Definite must buy if you are needing a dress for a costume or event!

The dress is supper pretty!! My only downfall with it is that the material gets caught in the zipper and won’t let it zip all the way up. Also one person can put it on but you will need two people to get it off.
