I bought two sets of these to do all four speakers in my 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK/JKU, and it was absolutely the right call. These replacements were a breath of fresh air. Poly cones, exact OEM mounting pattern, and OEM-style connectors made the install completely plug and play. No cutting, no adapters, no drama. The sound is terrific, noticeably cleaner and fuller, and they can handle more watts than the stock Jeep speakers without complaint. This is one of those upgrades that feels smooth, logical, and immediately rewarding. A true upgrade that doesn’t turn into a project, even if I got a little carried away enjoying the first test drive.

In terms of audio fidelity, these speakers aren't a huge upgrade over the factory speakers. But they are a lot more sensitive, and can get louder than the factory ones without distorting. This is handy given I don't have a separate amp driving them. They're direct drop-in replacements for the factory speakers, so installation is super-easy. I swapped all four speakers in about two hours. I also stuffed some foam rubber batting into the speaker enclosures to try to make them sound a little less plasticky.

2011 wrangler: Great new speakers... though unlike other reviews, the previous owner replaced the speakers (and had a sub)... the speakers they had were basically the same as stock though so replacing them was needed. They had the stock tweeters set up so I had to bypass a bit of wiring since these are co-axial. Install was super easy on the soundbar... the dash speakers were a little more involved but simple enough once you get the speaker pod out. Bass thumps way better however now I have a bunch of vibrating going on from all the gear on my rig lol (some vibration on the stock tweeter bulbs in the soundbar)... these are the same as Kicker speakers (I baught Kicker's and these - I put the kickers in the soundbar and these in the dash). Crisp sound and solid bass - be mindful that these are for wranglers... wranglers are not luxury vehicles. ;)

I have a 2017 jku sport so the stock speakers were the cheap paper cone plastic housing speakers.(Not the alpine) With the freedom top off and windows open I could not hear my music even at max volume. When installing this set of four (two front two in the sound bar) I did put poly fill in the housing of all four. Took a test ride down the freeway with freedom panel off and all my windows down and could hear my music clearly at half volume. The also added a lil more base then stock. I would highly suggest if your rocking the stock speakers like I was these are great replacements no need for an adaptor 100% plug and play plus tone of online videos on YouTube to help install also need to add I have the stock head unit as well planing to upgrade that next.

The sound quality is poor, distorted bass, humming in the speakers when the radio is not on. I would not recommend these.

Fit well, sounds great. And teenage daughter is happy.

It really upgraded the sound and made deeper yet smoother sounding bass notes. I would grab some foam insulation because these things punch hard enough it makes the plastic rattle

I bought this set for my Wrangler JK. Supposed to be Kicker brand speakers, they are fakes of the originals.

Even though these are not "Kicker" brand, they have made a huge improvement in sound. Much better bass and treble.

These sounds similar to the one I already had in jeep, dont recommend buying them, total waste of money
