SumUp Air mobile card terminal for contactless payments with Credit & Debit Card, Apple & Google Pay - NFC RFID practical money card reader

What a great product. An easy, affordable way to take payments! Used this for over a year now and had no issues. The software app is easy to use and make using this product a breeze. The app is clear and very intuitive and straight forward to set up. Adding products can be done either on the app or more importantly for us, on a laptop or PC. The format is clear and if you want to run inventory levels while using this live it is all handled seamlessly as long as you have an internet connection. The terminals, once paired with your mobile, connect quickly and won't let you down in front of customers. The work flow is smooth and once you've taken payments a couple of times you'll be at ease with using it. Adding images of your inventory makes thing easy to see when adding a purchases to the bill and the ability to add discounts on the fly is a real bonus for dealing with that haggling customer. It's a great product and my only nag is ...... it has no ability to block a device when tapping out! Meaning if you have Google or Apple Pay on your own phone and hold the terminal in the same hand as your phone at the time of purchase, your phone will trigger the payment. It's only happened once, but it happened. Blocking your own mobile from payments would be a great addition.

Excellent all round. This was easy to setup and the machine worked well out of the box. Charging is via a micro-usb cable. Usb-c would have been better, but it's not the end of the world, considering the remarkably low price. Connection via Bluetooth works fine. It takes a short time to send the payment request to the machine, but it works flawlessly. My daughter has setup a basic business account on there. It's very easy to understand and keeps track of all sales. It's perfect for her post-University craft sales. No need to be a registered company as you just set it up as a sole trader and select the type of items you'll be selling. You can even pre-aresnge sales for specific items, so all yo need to do is click on them in the app. It works fine on Android. The ap even supports NFC payments in the phone, which wasn't expected as it suggested only Apple phones worked when we researched it. The reader makes it look far more professional and secure for buyers. The device seems quite durable and should withstand a few accidental short drops. Overall, initial views are really positive. We'll see how it does in regular use.

Deciding who to get your merchant account t with can be a daunting task. For our purpose, we can have low turnover, nd necer know week to week how much we will need to use card services The end of day stuff is a little basic, so you may need to choose how you do things. For our usage money needed to go to 3 different departments, as such. We did start with cash and card going through the system. After COVID we just use this for card, as we changed how we do things As I said, we need to split money into departments, so to make it easy we have these at the end of every item in the shop. [AC] for example. We can then look at sales for the last week and filter for each department. This works well For my station, I used my phone and a card reader. If I need help, and for the coffee station etc we have a second card reader, and if I am ever away, we have VG eba tablet, and it has it's own card reader. Then we have VG eba spare one in a box, incase you have any issues. Over the years we have had one failure of a unit. These don't really get handled with kid gloves, so we are doing pretty well I half damaged one, but still works as we put in magnetic chargers in them, and the one plug kept sliding out, so it had a little rhreadlock to stop it sliding. This was great, until it dropped and snapped off the top of the plug I was able to heat up and get the plug out. The unit has melted plastic now, but it still charges fine and has worked for over a year since that they maybe a bit tougher than I first maybe made them sound. I do drop these daily regularly too. So happy with the units and service. And just remembered, we have a solo unit idown at another site, with very occasional use. And a solo so it's stupid easy to use, without a phone, tablet, or internet connection (they have their own 4g connection).

Great for small businesses. So easy to set up and we find it works quite quickly. Two of us have our phone connected to it and it works fine for both of us. I also do deliveries and take it with me for people to pay at the door and have never had any issues. The battery is amazing we've hardly ever had to charge it. I haven't gave it 5 stars though as after one year our machine just wouldn't work anymore. It told us to contact customer support and we were told it wasn't fixable as some sort of security thing had been triggered which permanently disabled the device. Apparently this happens if there is any impact to the device, however I am 100% certain there was no impact to our device. Yes I took it delivering with me but was always ultra careful with it, there was never any drops or any impact on it so I'm very disappointed with this. However due to the cheap price I've decided to still give it 4 stars, if the same happens again with this device then I wonder if they are automatically set to disable after so long so you have to keep buying new ones? Who knows. I'll update this if anything happens to our 2nd device but hopefully it'll be fine.

Brought as a gift for a family member who is a carpenter, Works well, easy to set up with your phone, has a handy app that links to it. Good quality reader which is easy to fit in your pocket or your work bag. Overall very happy

Absolut empfehlenswert ist der Kartenleser Air von Sumup. Wir arbeiteten bereits mit dem Vorgängermodel - dem PIN+. Dieser neue Air-Reader hat einige Vorteile: 1. um einiges größer als der Vorgänger und dadurch für die Kunden viel besser bedienbar - die Zahlen im Feld wurden früher von den wenigsten sofort richtig getroffen - nun viel besser 2. Laden des Akku mit Kabel (wie bei Androidgeräten) - vorher einfache Batterien. Allerdings in beiden Fällen lange Nutzungsdauer, weil das Gerät in den Standbymodus geht 3. wirkt aufgrund seiner Gestaltung wertiger, stabiler und seriöser Die Verbindung zum Handy (altes Galaxy S5) funktioniert immer reibungslos, der Ablauf ist sehr zügig, keine Wartezeiten beim Verbindungsaufbau. Wir benutzen das Gerät im Geschäft, auf dem Markt oder bei der Auslieferung der Ware bei den Kunden. Ein Handy mit der App von Sumup (Andriod oder IOS) und stabiles Handynetzt sind für die Nutzung notwendig. Schnell installiert, keine monatlichen Kosten, einmal die Anschaffung und eine meiner Meinung nach geringe Gebühr je Kartenzahlung. Wir arbeiten seit mehr als 1,5 Jahren mit Sumup und sind sehr froh über diese Möglichkeit für unsere Kunden. Es funktioniert mit EC-Karten mit PIN, Kreditkarten (Unterschrift auf dem Handydisplay - dafür einen passenden Stift benutzten oder mit dem Finger). Sumup ist preiswert und die Zahlungen sind in max. drei Werktagen gebucht. Die Empfehlung erhielten wir von einem Tupperberater, der es leid war, die Gastgeberin mit dem Eintreiben der Beträge zu beschäftigen. Rundum ist Sumup ein gutes System mit guten Geräten. Unbedingt empfehlenswert.

J'utilise SumUp pour mon association et ce TPE est vraiment bien notamment parce qu'il y a des applications mobiles adaptés : mobile et tablette, mais aussi des fonctionnalités utiles comme : l'ajout d'articles - l'ajout de salariés pour éviter de donner les pleins pouvoir à ces derniers sur la configuration. Je vous mets juste en garde sur une chose en particulier : ne faîtes jamais tomber cet appareil ni même le faire surchauffer car il pourrait se "verrouiller" sans pouvoir le débloquer. J'ai dû en racheter un en urgence avant un événement. Je mets quand même les 5 étoiles partout parce que je trouve que ce produit est vraiment bien et qu'à l'instar des frais sur chaque transactions, les produits proposés sont de qualités.

Lector de tarjetas de débito/crédito, compatible con (casi) todas las empresas de tarjetas o por lo menos las más usadas, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Amex... mediante NFC o chip, NO admite/soporta lector de banda magnética ni Samsung Pay. Compatible con Apple Pay y Android Pay. Una vez te das de alta en su web y mandas la información que solicitan sobre tu empresa/negocio, en un par de días te activan el usuario y ya puedes empezar a operar con el lector. En mi caso y como leí algún comentario que habían rechazado el alta como cliente, hasta que no me activaron no compré el lector por si acaso. Una vez lo tuve, me descargué la app para ios y la instalé en un iPhone que se usa como teléfono de empresa, se configuró el lector desde la propia app y en 1 minuto ya lo tienes listo para efectuar cobros. Es necesario disponer de internet en el móvil donde se efectúa el cobro y es obligatorio tener activa la ubicación (GPS), en caso contrario NO se efectúa el cobro. Es un sistema de seguridad para prevenir fraudes tanto al cliente como al vendedor. La operativa es muy fácil: • Asegúrate que tienes activo el Bluetooth en el móvil. • Abres la app, en caso de que haya olvidado tu user/pass los pones y entras en la app de SumUp. • Ponemos la cantidad a cobrar prestando especial atención a los decimales. Una vez comprobamos que la cantidad es correcta, pulsamos el botón azul: Realizar Cargo. • En ese momento el tarjetero se activa y nos solicita poner la tarjeta con el chip NFC sobre el lector o bien se introduce la tarjeta por la ranura situada en la parte superior. Repito: NO es compatible con Samsung Pay. • Se pasa el tarjetero al cliente para que introduzca el PIN en caso de que la cantidad a cobrar sea superior a 20€. Para cantidades inferiores no es necesario el PIN. • Una vez se ha realizado el pago, se nos muestra una pantalla para dar al cliente el comprobante. Se puede hacer de 2 formas, o bien nos facilita una dirección de correo o bien un número de móvil para SMS. Yo prefiero la opción del SMS. • Al cliente le llegará un mensaje de texto SMS (sin coste para él ni para ti) con un enlace, si hace click sobre él se le mostrará el resguardo de la operación. • Salimos de la app para finalizar el proceso. Una vez has efectuado el cobro, el lector entra en reposo, por lo que la duración de la batería se alarga. Pasados 3 días laborables, se efectúa el ingreso en tu cuenta menos la comisión del 1,5% que se queda la empresa. La única pega que le he encontrado es que una vez has pulsado sobre el botón de Realizar el Cargo, en la app no puedes cancelar el proceso, tienes que pulsar sobre el botón de encendido del lector para cancelar o bien cerrar la app, no existe un botón de anular/cancelar como el los datáfonos normales en la app de SumUp. Totalmente recomendado.

Utilizzo questo dispositivo da tempo e mi sono sempre trovata bene. Ho deciso di riacquistarlo qui dopo che il precedente si è rotto a causa di una piccola caduta. Funziona correttamente, risponde alle mie esigenze quotidiane e si rivela pratico e intuitivo. L’esperienza complessiva è positiva: la qualità è buona, le prestazioni affidabili e non ho riscontrato difetti nell’uso normale. Tuttavia, va maneggiato con molta attenzione perché tende a danneggiarsi facilmente: anche un urto leggero può comprometterne la funzionalità. Nonostante questo limite, se trattato con cura rimane un prodotto valido e utile, che svolge bene il suo lavoro. Pro: Funziona bene e in modo intuitivo Buone prestazioni complessive Acquisto conveniente Contro: Struttura molto delicata Non resiste agli urti Conclusione: Consigliato a chi cerca un dispositivo affidabile, purché lo si utilizzi con attenzione.
