A new respectable 5 out of 5!
Super new** Crazy Aaron’s Crackle Snap Poppins Polka Dot Thinking Putty I was honestly surprised by how fast this showed up. The color hit me right away. It has that liquid‑glass type of base that Crazy Aaron uses, and whatever that medium is, it really works for this one. The colors are bright and look great suspended in the clear gel. When you stretch it or whip it up, it turns into this cloudy white that holds all the little pellets in place, and it looks really cool. I’m pretty sure the pellets are some kind of polystyrene or Styrofoam, but they feel different from the usual stuff. They have a soft, pudgy texture when you press on them. They don’t feel hard at all, but you still get a nice tactile sensation from the roundness. It’s actually really therapeutic. They’re way better than the sharp or rigid pieces you get in some other sensory putties. These feel smooth and pleasant to roll around in your fingers. If you move your fingers fast, a couple of the pellets can pop out, but it’s not a big deal. They’re soft and colorful and add a lot to the overall feel. The tin is also larger than the smaller sensory versions Crazy Aaron puts out, so you get a good amount to work with. I don’t know if the base medium is what causes the occasional popping, but the overall tactile feel is way more satisfying than the standard putties. I haven’t tried the Green Pea or the sponge‑textured versions yet, but this one feels like it’s right up there with the best of them for fidgeting. Five out of five.

Wonderful Fidget
This is the best slime/putty I have found. For sure, one of my top fidgets. It's soft because of the foam balls, stretchy without ripping, has a good texture and consistency, just the right amount of firm in your hand, and overall, just lovely. My only possible complaint is that the tin can sometimes be hard to open and close, but I have long acrylic nails, so that could be it, and it does make small bubbles that pop, but that's not a big deal to me. Also very reasonably priced.

Amazing product!
I browsed all of crazy Aaron’s putty options for so long before finally deciding on this one, and it didn’t disappoint. Although quite firm at first, it’s super enjoyable once warm. The popping sounds it creates when being stretched and squeezed is so satisfying too. Not to mention the little rainbow beads (and some glitter) make it appealing to look at. I also didn’t find the tin to be that difficult to open, just twisted it and pulled it off. I’m super happy with this purchase.

Great product. Packaging could use some improvement.
The tin holding the putty is thin and will bend as you’re getting the putty out making it hard to put the lid back on the tin. The putty is awesome!

Non-gooey Putty
My daughter is obsessed with Thinking Putty. I thought her a couple tins to help when she’s feeling a little anxious or even if she just needs a distraction. Her friends have even tried stealing it from her so I bought extras for her class. She loves the way it feels. I love that it doesn’t get all gooey like slime. The putty is super stretchy and the beads in it provide perfect sensory stimulation. I have found it cheaper in other places but for the convenience this worked.

Buy it!
My kids are absolutely obsessed with this putty. The texture is perfect - stretchy, squishy, and super satisfying to play with. It keeps them entertained for long stretches, and I love that it doesn’t dry out or make a mess. Great quality and totally worth it if you’re looking for a simple toy that kids actually keep coming back to.

You'd have more fun playing with a rock!
This product is horrible. It is so hard that the children couldn't even squish, stretch or manipulate it. I was not able to pull out of tin. Ran it under scolding water for 20 minutes and it was still too hard to play with. The only snaps pops and cracks it made were from my knuckles and bones trying do anything with this putty. Into the trash can it goes!!!

Love the sound - impossible to open
The crackling sound is really great! Enjoy the putty itself a lot but the tins are so frustrating. Impossible to open - their suggested tip of twisting the can doesn’t work with the big cans. Unsure why they haven’t changed design when so many people have this same complaint. It’s not a great fidget option if I have to be super careful to make sure it is horizontal at all times.

Great for anyone with busy hands, I got it to start actively trying to not pick my fingers and I’m happy this slime is not sticky so it’s easy to bring around with you.

fun to play with and sounds good but the packaging is very poor quality and came damaged. very hard to open and now unable to close properly, concerned how well it will last

Purchased for mom, who's got arthritis in her hands and, therefore, not able to use various toys to exercise her fingers. This putty is perfect and better yet a lot of to play with without making a must while watching tv or talking to someone. I would recommend it 👌

I just wish the balls were bigger so I could hear more of the pops
