we needed to replace our Moen handheld shower head that lasted for well over 20+ years......I wanted to replace our old handheld shower head with another Moen product.....hte Attune shower head clearly fit the bill.....installation was seamless......teh appearance of teh Attune was much more sleek looking than the original shower head but worked just as well....the 6 settings all worked well.....I do not believe one would need more than six settings which is more than a sufficient number of selections.....flow and pressure was much better than expected and well above average.....a nice looking , well made, and high quality product......HIGHLY recommended......

I recently put in a whole-house water filter that doesn't need maintenance or filters for ten years. It's such a pleasure! Plus my cats are now drinking more water than they used to, which my vet recommended. Anyway, the point of this review is that I had two Waterchef showerheads that used filters. The filters cost about $30 each and are supposed to be replaced every six months. With two showerheads, that was $120 a year. Once I had the whole-house water filter installed, it made no sense to pay $60 for two Waterchef filters that would only last six months, especially when I could get two Moen showerheads for about the same price. Installation was quick and easy, and I love the controls on this showerhead. One setting delivers plenty of water, but does it gently, which is nice because my skin is sensitive. Also, we have a Moen ExactTemp valve that lets you choose a number on the water control dial, and the temperature is always a precise temperature. My daughter commented that she now must turn the dial to a lower number because the water is too hot at her usual volcanic setting. I can't explain why that would be the case with a new showerhead, so maybe the filter on the Waterchef showerhead was cooling the water a bit, and now, with no filter, the water can be the right temperature. I've only had the showerheads installed for a few months, but so far, so good.

If there were at least a little bit of metal in it somewhere, I’d give it 5 stars but alas, it is all plastic. That said, it does seem to work well and does not leak when tightened down by hand. No teflon tape, no tools. Upon removing the little “water saving” O-ring the shower head has good pressure and seems to work very well. I cannot speak to its durability as it’s only been in place in a “guest” bathroom less than a week and ultimately won’t be used on a daily basis.
