Revlon ColorSilk Digitones Permanent Hair Color with Keratin, 95D Pastel Pink, 1 Count

Wow just wow. I had zero expectation for this item, I got it anyway because it's so cheap and I always wanted to try a light lavender color. I had bleached, very damaged, blueish dirty blonde hair to begin with, it was a patchy mess due to a recent botched dye job done by myself. I've been regularly using semi-permanent dyes for about a year now and different colors faded at different paces, so my blueish dirty blonde hair also had streaks of really gross looking orange, purple, yellow and green streaks all over the place. Again, I had zero expectations for this dye, I wasn't sure what I was hoping to achieve, I guess I just wanted to try something different before I use a deeper dye to cover up my current patchy mess. I was blown away when I dried my hair and took a first look into the mirror, wow would you just look at that. The dye has evened out a lot of my horrible looking patchy streaks and it gives my hair a nice icy silver titanium with a very enlightened lavender tone. The lavender tone is barely visible in the photo under indoor lighting, but you could see it in real life under different light sources. The color actually turned out a lot cooler on my hair because I already had a cold blue tint in my bleached hair. The random orange and yellow tone in my hair now completely gone. Although, you could still see my darker colored patchy streaks through this beautiful icy lavender, that's only because I had a very messed up base color to begin with, and this dye is so pastel, it wouldn't cover up anything that's darker than itself. I could only imagine how good this dye would turn out if I had perfectly prepped blonde hair. I absolutely can't wait to use this color again when I get my bleach job fixed. It was super easy to use, I was also happily surprised when I realized it really didn't stain the sink and the tub. Super easy to clean too if you do get it on the tub or your skin. It also made my already damaged hair look and feel softer, silkier and healthier. I hope they make more colors. I'll definitely buy again.

I don't like how "barely there" the color is. The color is definitely not as saturated as the purple hair on the box. The color is definitely not "vivid" like they advertise on the box.

Like a lot of us, I change hair colors from time to time - sometimes for a seasonal change and sometimes because I am tired of a color I have had for a while. Although I have certainly tried a few of the "pop" colors, I have been less than satisfied of the results and lack of any longevity of the shades. I spotted these Revlon colors at a store a few months ago and gave the pink a shot. My natural hair color is a soft brown so first I used a Revlon light blonde to raise the color. After that process, I added this shade. What nice results! The pinks I had tried before tended to have too much red/yellow pigments I thought, which definitely made the colors more red. In this one, I found the color more what I was looking for - a nice mild cool pink. To be fair, had I not lifted my hair color to blonde first, I doubt this shad would have made much of a difference. Also, as with most red hues, this color requires a monthly re-do, but at $4+ per application it's not much of a sacrifice! What made me think to write this review is that I am getting ready to do yet another application for another month of pink-tinted hair. Several months in a row is pretty rare for me, especially in the summer when I tend to be outside more. Revlon's pink really delivers!

Good by for the under $5 price. Kit also includes gloves, developer, and clear instructions. Got this after unable to find teal permanent dye. It is actually blue. After applying to my already blonde hair ends, colour came out varying from black to dark blue depending on the lighting. I got compliments. I liked the colour. It was true to what was advertised. One month later I washed my hair and as said by some reviews it washed out. Almost half of blue colour gone. Dark blue color now a lighter blue. Seems this will happen each time I wash so wont last long. I agree that you should be careful not to let your hair get wet when out and about because it seems to drip/wash out easily when wet. It also won't take to virgin hair unless hair already lightened. Can get messy and leave permanent mark if not removed from surfaces quickly with bleach.

Got this product along with the platinum blonde kit. Used the platinum kit then waited 14 days as suggested in the directions to use this blue. In the 14 days that I waited to use this blue I also used some blue shampoo and conditioner to try to remove more of the brass color so that the blue would take better. This product comes out a really pretty blue IF your hair is white/platinum blonde, otherwise it comes out more of a teal/slate blue? I still like it! I’ve washed it a few times and it hasn’t really faded that I’ve noticed. I plan on waiting a few months and using the platinum again and this blue to see if I can lighten my hair more so that the blue takes better. It’s super easy to use and I did get some on my skin but if you scrub it with a washcloth and soap right off it comes off with no staining. The gloves aren’t the best but they never are in these kits lol great value for price! You can see how much hair I colored and I soaked my hair and still had half a bottle left (yes I know I missed some of my roots, thank the hubs for not noticing that when I asked if I got everything) overall it is a good product and does come out a pretty blue!

Very happy with this pale lavender result. Have used the blue before and like that one too. The color is resilient and did not seem to fade - just had to grow out. Easy to apply. Worked on gray hair!
