Excellent colour variety of oil pastels that are nice to use and offer a soft creamy medium. My kids have lvoed using these for art because the vibrant range of colours make them appealing and fun to use. I am happy for them to use these as they're an affordable option that balances good coverage and blendability with the price point. They draw well to my amateur hand...i certainly couldn't complain that the pastels were inhibiting my drawing ability!

I picked these up because they were cheap and I thought I wanted to have a go. They're really creamy and easy to blend and a lot of fun to use. The pastels are pigmented and lay down thickly so stop. I can't comment on the quality versus other brands cuz I haven't used other brands but I think these are perfectly serviceable for the price and especially if you're just starting out.

I love these oil pastels. They're by far my favourite brand. They're satisfying to use and create really nice effects. They don't smell like some other brands and aren't super greasy, or too hard. I wish they were lightfast rated so I could use them on proper pieces, but they're the set I reach for the most. More than my sennelier or Neopastels. Great bang for your buck.

I don't usually review on Amazon but I figured it could help some other beginners. I bought these after purchasing some other pastels which I found were too hard and I am astounded at the quality for the price of the artecho pastels. Fully functional and fit for purpose. They look professional and carefully packed with a protective layer of sponge in the lid. The pastels themselves are soft and buttery. They smudge with your finger and blend well with each other. Gorgeous set of oil pastels. Was recommended at the art class i go to. Good selection of colours and they blend well. Handy shade card inside. Wish it had more than one piece of the white colour pastel (thats only because I use it as lot)

Amazing profuct ! The oil pastels are creamy and soft and the range of colours is so large it gives you so many options to chose from. I didn't think you could get such great value for the price but these prove me wrong. They're pigmented and blendable and mixable .. truely a great choice for art students and young professional artists

Really lovely oil pastels, they lay down beautifully, the pallet is nice, they blend well, and are apparently nontoxic. The price was good too.
