The media could not be loaded. I really appreciate the design of this headache/migraine relief cap. I've had some before that are designed slightly differently with having top part closed, this cap has an open top so that people like myself who have big hair can easliy sllip this on, while having hair tied up loosely on the top of the head. It's has a think internal gel filling and it's entirely reversible. It's also very easy to store internal zip lock bag, that comes with it. I like to keep it stored in my fridge ready to hand as and when needed. I've not yet used it to apply heat, so I'm unable to comment on how well it stands up to doing that, yet.It fells comfortable to wear providing a 360° application, it has some weight to it but it's not heavy, in comparison to the others that I found were too big, or too heavy for me and my little female adult head. It really is affective and is presently selling at the great price of £19.99.

I just keep it in the freezer for some time and then use it.The cap is good quality and the best part is the 360-degree coverage of the whole head. The gel effect is really soothing and it also blackouts the light so it works for me.

My partner suffers from migraines and really struggles to find anything that offers relief apart from alot of painkillers so thought this was worth a punt. It is made from a very soft material and feels like its filled with gel which makes it very comfortable to wear. Yes its a bit tight, but its suposed to be, I've also tried it on and it fits my head fine (which is considerably bigger than my partners) so it is one size fits all.I put it in the freezer for about an hour and that was plently long enough, if you have a good tolerance to the cold then you could probably go for longer, but for me it would be uncofortable. Once it's on it does a good job of blocking out nearly all light and puts enough pressure on your head without being painful so can be worn for long periods of time.My partner did find it helped to sooth her, but did not really make a lot of difference to her actual migraine, prehaps it depends on the severity. She will definitely use it again and said it is good for slight headaches and 'stress related heads' and she finds it generally calming, so would recommend. At the end of the day it's not gonna make you migraine any worse, so it's definitely worth a go.

I have quite a few different caps for headache relief as both my wife and I suffer from migraines and I'm always adding to the "stock" we have in the fridge as none of these last as long as we'd like so we can keep swapping them over. This particular one is quite a good cap as it's fairly tight but not too much and provides the right amount of pressure. The one continuous gel insert is different to some which have multiple smaller gel inserts but I think this helps to provide the necessary pressure and keeps the cooling effect all over your head. I'd say the cooling effectiveness of this cap is about 20-25 minutes or so before needing to change to another cap which is fairly common for these as none of them stay cold for ages once on your head. Some caps are enclosed at the top, however this one is open so can be pulled down quite far. Overall the quality and feel of the cap is good, however the gel doesn't go up to the seam at the top which looks a little untidy, although you don't get these for how they look. I highly recommend this addition to our collection.

Omg this is amazing. I put it on and felt instant relief it was incredible.I got my husband to try it, he was looking at me like a mad woman and I could tell he was just putting it on to humour me but once he did I could visibly see his body relax from the instant relief it offers.I can't explain it, it's like a hug for your head.While my husband can wear it comfortably he did say he would prefer it to be a little looser. I personally found the size perfect for me.It also came with a little bag for storage in the fridge/freezer.Both my husband and I are migraine sufferers and I also have chronic headaches honestly the best thing ever really recommend it

Fits well, lovely silky smooth material. Thin gel inside. I stupidly tried it on as soon as it came...with a full face of make up...so I can confirm it wipes clean very well as had to spend the next few mins getting the make up off around the nose section.Even just out the pack, feels very cooling. Nice and dark once on. Good to have it open at top to be breathable...not sure if you've got a headache you are likely to have your hair up high on your head tho.Doesn't really have any instructions about putting in the freezer. Other than the cheap plastic. Bag it comes in says freezer bag. But I've had these before and i tend to put it in for 10 mins before using over just storing it in the freezer like other cold packs we have.Nice, basic, works well.
