This knife block is perfect! The size is extra large and fits my many different size knives perfectly. The strength of the magnet is strong and holds all my knives. The knife block is sleek and modern and looks great in my kitchen. It is sturdy and has some heft so I know it will last a long time. I love the wood and the way it looks. I am very happy with it!

What a great invention! It not only looks good on the counter, takes up less space than a large block and I can get more types of knives on it. The magnet is strong and can hold the heavy chef's knife. It was easy to put together. And I can keep it much cleaner than I ever could the block.

I was surprised by two things, some assembly required and that they provided the screw driver to make it simple. The assembly was 3 screws to attach the base to the body. It looks very nice and works better. As you can see from the picture I have only pleased knives on one side even though both sides are magnetic. Solid material, great price, and a nice addition to my kitchen. Magnets are strong and placed well to support all my knives.

At first I was skeptical about the quality due to the reviews. It must be a mixed bag. I think I got a good one. The quality is pretty good for the price. It's not out of this world but still very nice. The hardware that comes with the kit is absolutely garbage. One screw came bent in three different directions and the screwdriver is just a waste of plastic. So be prepared to get yourself 3 decent wood screws from your garage. And properly drill pilot holes into the knife block so you don't split any wood. The knife block itself is heavy and the magnets are pretty strong. Holds an 8-in chef's knife with no problem, it doesn't tip. It has nice rubber feet and should last a while in good condition. It being wood, I would make sure your cutlery is absolutely dry before storing your knives as laminated wood does not like water. Other reviewers complained about splitting over time. I have a feeling that water is involved. But we will see. This is just a short-term review. But overall pleased. Lastly, I was in the market for a magnetic knife block that wasn't too tall as I have low hanging cabinets because of my raised countertops. So this height about 8 in and 15 in wide is good for a set of 12 knives plus shears without overcrowding.

This knife board is well made sturdy and heavy. It's a great edition to a small counter space. The acadia wood is gorgeous the magnets in the wood are super strong and the knifes stick quickly, there are no gaps in the way the magnets are positioning so the knives stay put where ever you put it! The shipping arrived within a reasonable amount of time and had no issues with the packaging or any of the pieces. This was a solid buy and highly recommend!

This is my third attempt at getting a magnetic knife block. The first one looked far uglier in person than the product listing and also shipped with a big crack I didn’t notice until I had tossed the packaging. The second was similar to this one but failed on two dimensions. First, the block was only 5/8” wide which made it useless for filling both sides as the handles would knock against each other pushing the knives loose. This was made worse by the magnets being too weak/poorly located to secure smaller knives. This block addresses all of these previous failings. First off, it looks great. Good proportions and nice looking wood. Second, the 1” thickness lets me load up both sides of the block without the handles interfering with each other. Finally, it not only holds my smaller knives there is still magnetic strength to hold my shears in the same space. You can see all of this in the pics I’ve attached. The block came well packaged and even included a screwdriver for assembly. One tip is to use the foam packaging to support the block in a vertical position while you attach the base. Overall, this is a great block that meets my needs perfectly. I hope it lasts!

Excellent product. If you want to avoid wood blocks that can become moldy or dirty on the inside and you doin't want to have your knives on a magnetic band on your wall, this is a stylish and very effective alternative. Can easily hold 10 large knives and with a bit of management up to 12. It is elegant, solid and a nice addition to my kitchen, also very accessible while you are preping or working your culinary masterpieces. I highly recomend this knife block

OMG.....ordered this yesterday and boom...it's on my doorstep. Quality is 5 star. Magnetic pull is incredible!. Loaded it up on both sides with knives, etc and it is excellent! Can't say enough,! My husband is laughing at me WHOOHOOO-ing around the house about it! Finally, my knives are organized and not laying in my utensil drawer. If you are looking at this, don't hesitate!

This replaces my 2 big old knife blocks which were cumbersome and eating up what little counter space I have to work in, which leaves me with a lot more room on the counter, and my knives nicely displayed on this magnetic rack. The rare earth magnets are very STRONG and I can store knives on both sides, so will always have room for my good knives. The wood is tasteful and nicely finished, even matching several other kitchen items. The knives are protected and displayed, and easy to slap back on the rack. Easy-peasy and safe. Came with the 3 screws needed to attach base to the sides,, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a nice little screwdriver included to drive them in. Not one of those cheapo hex things often used in self-assembly packages, but a real screwdriver with a nice handle. Nice touch! Got knives? This is a game changer. Lovely, real wood, safe, and space-saving. Only a wall might be better, but mine, well, somewhere under all the stuff hanging there, I think there is a wall?

Love the size and look. It’s very heavy and sturdy, beautiful quality the magnet is very strong, and it holds all my knives and clever I definitely recommend this. It’s not hard to assemble take me less than a minute to assemble it

I am a very frugal purchaser, and spent a lot of time to find just the right priced, great quality knife board and this is it! I graduated from a knife block and will never go back. It's slim line allows it to almost hide in my kitchen until needed, unlike a bulky knife block, mine sits beside my microwave, so the space left between the knife board and the microwave is more than sufficient to prevent a blocking of airflow (for those that might wonder) The magnets inside this board are strong and works on both sides of the block so you reclaim a LOT of your kitchen real estate that can be better used for other things and it fits a LOT of knives. I also have my knife sharpener and a pair of scissors that I use with it and it holds more knives that my knife block ever did and I have the convenience of where I want my knives placed versus having to slip them into specific slots. CON: You need to assemble the board, and while it's easy, you will need to be carefully to completely screw the scews into the board which is just a little awkward at first, but as you're only going to do it once or twice in the it's lifetime is not a big deal, and I'm pretty sure they all come needing to be assembled. Not exaggerating when I say having this product has impacted my cooking life for the better!
