We bought these to help assemble our chicken run and are very pleased with the results. They are well made, sturdy, easy to use, and will hold up in the intense Arizona sun which tends to dry rot the plastic zip ties in one season. They are reasonably priced and came in a timely way just as expected. We have since used them on other projects as well.

They work great for outside projects. The plastic ones break after a couple of years in the element. Easy to use.

I bought these to hold up baskets and other things in my rat cage. After months of having them one of them decided to chew every zip tie I had, even if it meant they had nothing to rest on. I purchased these and they are very durable. So far none of the rats have been able to chew through it. It works well and holds the baskets tight although it was a little hard to use them and I had to pull really tight. My girlfriend struggled a bit more but it was expected considering it was such a small bar it was wrapping around but the metal still bent to get a tight fit. The price wasn’t too bad for how many I got and how durable they are. They can also be reused if you’re able to shove something through to open the tab which is great when rearranging and cleaning the cage.

I got these metal ties to use with a zip tie gun. The gun actually required about an extra 5 inch length of tie to operate correctly, so the metal ties were too short. Since they wouldn't work with the zip tie gun, I tried to tie them manually and it was just too difficult and took twice as long than a traditional plastic zip tie. The metal ties were slippery to hold onto and wouldn't insert easily into its own end. I ended up getting the plastic zip ties and the project went smoothly and quickly after that.

Very durable. Doesn't break easy. Does the job. I used them to secure fencing for 2 huge dogs.
