The product was exactly what i expected and fits perfect for my 2016 mercedes E class W212 M276.

OE quality vacuum valve for Mercedes engines. This valve is used to activate the vacuum controlled wastegates on turbochargers, as well as for brake assist and other vacuum actuated controls. Over time, the diaphragm can become torn and result in vacuum leakage or irregular vacuum. If the wastegate actuator moves at idle, there is a good chance this valve is damaged and needs replacing. If your A/C or heating seems to work irregularly, this valve may be the problem. It is a very inexpensive way to restore the performance of your car.

I needed to get one of these quickly, so Amazon to the rescue. It cost was staggeringly high considering it's the same Chinese sourced part one can get for ten bucks from other online sites. I'll be seeking out a name brand version, as word on the street is that Volvo has one made for them that is more durable. This replacement only lasted a week despite being properly installed. I started having hesitation under boost again and pulled the valve- the diaphragm is separated. Grabbed another valve for ten bucks from another online site and it's actually been lasting now for a month but I don't expect it to last much longer. So- just because it costs more doesn't make it better, as it's still a no-name part from China and not one of the ones made for Mercedes, Volvo, or Ford (who all use this exact same part) as the OEM parts are NOT Chinese- they're made in Europe. Save your money, this is a $9 part being sold for WAY too much.

I got the Klifex Vacuum Pump Repair Kit for my Mercedes, and while it does the job functionally, I have serious reservations about the value proposition here. The Good: The kit arrived as described and appears to be compatible with my M276 engine. Installation was straightforward, and the parts fit properly without any issues. The Not-So-Good: Here’s where my concerns come in. This kit feels identical in quality to other vacuum pump repair kits I’ve seen selling for significantly less money. In fact I had previously purchased 2 for $12.99 on Amazon. I’m talking by about a substantial price difference. The materials, finish, and overall build quality don’t seem to justify the premium pricing. Adding to my skepticism, the packaging provides no information about where this product is manufactured. For the price point Klifex is charging, I expected more transparency about the origin and quality standards of these components. The up close pictures of the plastic and materials doesn’t provide me with a lot of confidence. Bottom Line: While the kit works as intended, I can’t shake the feeling that there’s a hefty premium for branding rather than superior quality. Unless you absolutely need this specific brand, I’d recommend shopping around for alternatives. There are other options out there that appear virtually identical for a fraction of the cost.
