This is the brand the nephrologist recommended to get to keep daily tabs on protein levels for nephrotic syndrome. The doctor told me to cut the strips lengthwise before use and get two uses out of one strip. A hospital lab test today confirmed the results. I bought these right at the start of treatment, so I can confirm that very high protein levels do show as very dark teal.

very simple and easy to use. If you have a thick green line on the bottom of the square reading portion of the strip don't be alarmed. You can ignore that because its just the way the urine lays on the strip. Focus on the color of the bulk majority of the square part of the strip.

What I did here in the image was a set of 3 tests of my first urine sample (note this isn't the first release of the day), as numbered 1-3. I then did a 4th test to see if the tests would infact detect all proteins in liquid, and not a specific type (ie albumin), and so I used milk as a control. The moment that I dipped the strips into the milk, it turned the darkest green on the scale. So, I'm sure now that the efficacy of these strips are as they claim, 96% accuracy. Even though I'm sure that I don't need to explain why I purchased these, I wanted to test my urine for possible proteinuria-protein in my urine (one of the symptoms of CKD) So, I wanted to rule out CKD as a possible reason as to a certain urine related symptom I've been having. Now I have peace of mind in knowing that there isnt any protein ltesent in my urine. Thank you. Now I have tests for later, If needed. I'll also test first thing in the morning, as well as by using different methods (ie, testing my direct stream) and update if my findings are different than my first test.

Good test

I am pleased with these test strips. My husband has chronic kidney disease and we have changed his diet drastically rather than introducing new medication. These strips help us determine what foods are affecting his diabetes and kidney function.

Did 2 strips, Both came out identical. Worth the money.

I am unsure of this product bc when I had the protein test at my doctor’s office, it came back negative. The same day, I tested my urine using these strips and it showed a positive at +2. I tried another time and it was still +2.
