I recently bought this knife set as a gift for my wife, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the purchase. She absolutely loves them! The quality is honestly some of the best I’ve ever seen in kitchen knives. From the moment we opened the box, it was clear these are high-end knives made with exceptional craftsmanship. The materials feel premium, and they have a solid, substantial weight to them that gives you confidence when using them. You can tell that a lot of thought and care went into the design. Cosmetically speaking, these knives are stunning. The sleek, modern design with the polished finish makes them look like something you'd see in a professional kitchen. They add such a touch of elegance to the kitchen, and my wife loves how they look displayed on the counter. It’s not just about function with these knives—they’re also a work of art. As for performance, the blade edges came razor-sharp right out of the box, and they have stayed incredibly sharp. Even after weeks of daily use, they haven’t dulled at all. $$$$$$$$$ Hard to part with the cash, but damn these are beautiful, & not to mention sturdy & sharp as hell. And of course, these are gorgeous, exceptional works of art too. The craftmanship is awesome, & the magnetic blocks make perfect displays. Even the Meat Ax is rock solid, but I did use long pre-drilled screws into the wall studs, which high enough up to discourage little fingers.

The knife is great lol the blade barely touched my finger slice lol at least I know it's a sharp knife, I just made a blood pact with my new knife awesome

So fantastic, I have bought two other size knives, just WOW! Love the balance, sharpness, quality. And the knife sheaths are beautiful and so useful too. I feel like these are timeless quality I can hand down to my family.

I debated for weeks what kind of chef knife I should get. I decided on this one because of its unique beauty. I like the knife although not as sharp as I hoped it worked well at work. I got a compliment from almost every other chef/cook there. And it's a good knife company for a new guy on the block. I researched for weeks before buying dalstrong because I have henckles for my other knives. I will say the handle is heavy and to me seems a little unbalanced but I should've known when going for a viking chef knife lol 😂 great customer support. I just bought the shogun series Damascus steel carving knife for prime rib. Can't wait to get it. Great customer support also. They immediately reached out to me to apologize which is one of the main reasons I went with this company, because I knew that they would want me to be satisfied and if I was unhappy it wouldn't be money wasted. They are more than willing to do whatever to make the situation right. also each piece is a quality piece of art too. Very nicely packaged with extras. I'm pleased! Update. Awesome company. So the knife came and looked pretty nice. On first use it was nice and sharp straight out the box. The finish is somewhat cheesy and fake looking on the blade itself. The handle is beautiful. I used it 3 times and hand washed it and immediately dried it and put it in my magnetic block. When I went to use it the 4th time I noticed the resin handle wasn’t sealed instead and it caused pitting and rough spots in the handle. Also, the brown parts of the handle had turned white in the pitted areas. Small but noticeable. I reached out to Dalstrong directly with a solid description and multiple photos and got no response. I waited a week, still nothing. Luckily Amazon customer service was much more helpful and handle the situation with a replacement overnight. This is my 4th and last Dalstrong after this experience. Bad customer service will always trump a decent product. There are too many other solid knife brands and many make a better product. To be fair, the replacement had a better handle that was properly sealed and had a lot more color. The knife is heavy and sturdy. It’s well balanced and sharp. But with the initial knife having such poor quality and topped off with poor service I will take my business elsewhere in the future. **update Dalstrong reached out after my review and did make a solid effort to make the situation better including sending me a complimentary knife. Still apprehensive about purchasing again but the good customer service is appreciated

As a professional chef who is holding a knife all day and having now used this knife to cut open packages, butcher chicken, slice and dice fruits and vegetable, I can say that this is an amazing knife. The handle is comfortable, the edge is sharper than a razor, and the build quality is what I've been searching for. I was able to slice a soft tomato in half without any pressure from my hand and just holding the knife in two fingers. If that doesn't tell you how good this knife is then I don't know what is. I'll definitely be buying more knifes to complete my set.

The knife and packaging were outstanding aesthetically speaking. I would have given it 5 stars, but upon recieving it I noticed that there was a small notch in the blade. It is a comfortable daily driver in a commercial kitchen. It will need to be treated with a bit of extra care as the sandblasted finish on the blade is easily scuffed.

I've used this for 2 and a bit years, perfect but be careful with epoxy handles. Mines was starting to serperate and eventuallycracked. Not a problem for me as I swapped for a deer antler handle just recently. So it's still going strong though, helps with my wrist problems I've got.

Beautiful knife I cannot fault it but the handle has cracked!? Not sure why this has happened noticed it today when cleaning it not sure what to do as it will just get worse??

Great knife. Came super sharp just like every knife I’ve got from dalstrong . It’s very light , but balanced well . It also looks super cool Will buy many more knives from dalstrong in the future
