This pan is one of my go to. It is the right size for many things. It is really easy to stir in and very easy to clean. The pan is thick and the lid fits very well also, making it an excellent choice to cook rice in. It is oven safe too.

This is my fifth All-Clad cookware pot and it gets the most use because the size is just about right for my needs (it will comfortably yield 2.5 litres of food). The rolled lip is handy for pouring food into serving/storage containers.I find it perfect for soups, pasta sauces, or anything that needs to simmer, really. It's deep, so things tend not to splatter as much.As with all of my other All-Clad pots and pans, the fit and finish are first rate, there is even heat distribution with no hot-spots, and cleaning is a breeze. It is pricey but these products certainly live-up to their value. I'll never have to purchase another similar pot again. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.
