I love this product
My lovely new oak windows and doors were looking a bit shabby after a year and I suspected that my builder used an interior oil to treat them, so I searched for a suitable outdoor treatment and came across this one - the price took my breath away! Well, if you are going to buy fancy oak windows and doors you have to buy the best stuff. I estimated that I would need two tins, but only bought one just in case I didn't like it - could be an expensive mistake.Well, the product arrived promptly and as soon as I started brushing it onto my windows I fell in love. Those windows which were starting to look dull and patchy suddenly shone with a golden glow; it was like I had the Midas touch. It was so easy to apply, no drips, no runs, altogether very well behaved. The sun shone and the more I painted the happier I got, it was very therapeutic and I thought, "who needs an azure pool and a drink with an umbrella in it when you can do this?". And when eventually I finished and looked down, I still had half a tin left!Once dry the surfaces felt reassuringly smooth and when it rained the water just ran off in globules. My woodwork looks great and I'm sure I have put value on my house - even the wife has started smiling at me again. There is one negative comment. It said that, once applied, the finish will last up to seven years. What? - in seven years I might be dead! I'm not waiting that long have that pleasure again - come next year I'm going to do it all over again.

Great product & colour is very dark
Great product to protect external wood, however be careful when using on oak. The dark colour tends to detract from natural wood grain & character

Just a great product
One of the best, no, the best wood productI have used. I have a large oak framed porch that I have been struggling to keep looking nice. After a lot of preparation to remove old oils etc, it was a pleasure to apply this product, the finish is great and it is a true oak colour. Not cheap but worth it

Easy to use, looks good, waiting to see how well it lasts.
Very easy to apply to bare wood with good coverage, beautiful appearance, at least as good as the original finish on my hardwood window frames which I stripped slowly with Wilco's paint stripper. Osmo's interior oil has worn very well on my staircase. I'll update this review of their exterior oil either when it shows signs of distress or after a couple of years. (applied summer 2014).

With the money
Used Osmo oil for years and find its better than any other product. Really good and durable. The cost is a bit high hope they don’t keep putting the cost up but does last a long time
