Hasn’t been installed yet but appears to be made well with quality materials. The damper seems to move well and it is unobstructed in its movement. I’m anticipating many years of use from this product.

My roofer installed this vent Cap when our home was being re-shingled. It is used to vent bathroom fan. The vent works great, no leaks, no issues. Flap closes when not in use to prevent bugs from entering exhaust pipe. Recommend this vent.

Product is a great value for anyone wishing to connect a 4" rigid or flexible duct material to an exterior roof vent. Damper functions as expected and installation can be done with or without using pre-drilled holes for roofing nails. Be sure to use roofing cement to guard against leaks around flashing. Vents are well-made

Complete with critter guard and a decent length of 6” pipe to make connections below the roof.

I bought both the 4-inch and 6-inch models. The quality looks better than those at Home Depot and Lowe's. Unfortunately, the back of the 4-inch version is not sealed—you can see a gap in the first photo. Light passes through the gap, as shown in the second photo. The 6-inch version has the back panel sealed and connected to the base panel (third photo). However, light still pass through the hole at the corners (forth and fifth photos). I sprayed water around the unit. I sadly confirmed water leaks through the vent hole.
