This is a high quality 'same specification' replacement for my Allen large room air filter at a lower cost. It fits snuggly in place, which is good, as there is no chance air can get by without being drawn through the element. Having 2 extra (3 in all) pre-filters, should prove beneficial in extending life to main filter. There is no apparent change in air flow or sound. One note to mention, the red light did not go to green, as I had expected. Being almost a year after my initial purchase of the unit, I had forgotten to hold the filter button for 5 seconds. It immediately went from red to green.

These work great to reduce dust and dust mites in the home. They also work for reducing pet dander. I noticed a difference when using my purifier. Good price as well.
