I received this air fryer oven for Christmas, and since I’d been wanting it for weeks, I set it up right away and have been using it constantly — and I LOVE IT. I’ve toasted bread (perfectly at Level 2), air-fried sweet potato fries in the rotisserie basket (perfect), roasted whole and cut-up potatoes on a tray on two different occasions (perfect), and reheated various foods (also perfect). Everything has come out exactly as it should. The oven is very easy to use and has the best warranty I’ve ever seen on a small kitchen appliance. The only minor downside for me is that while the oven interior is stainless steel, the included trays are Teflon-coated (and the crumb tray is zinc-coated). Cosori does offer a stainless steel rack, but it’s been sold out for weeks. My workaround has been to use a stainless steel rack/pot steamer/cooling rack that fits beautifully. When I place a pan or tray on top, it sits around Position 3 in the oven, which has been an excellent height for everything I’ve cooked so far (except when using the rotisserie basket). I’ve seen reviews saying this oven is loud, but that hasn’t been my experience at all — it’s actually quieter than my fairly new microwave. I’ve also read comments about it getting very hot. Some areas do get warm to the touch, but it is an oven. That said, it doesn’t seem to throw off heat — my microwave sits about three inches away and stays cool as a cucumber. Another thing people mention is the preheating function. Personally, I think preheating makes sense for certain cooking, but if you don’t want to wait, you can easily bypass it by pressing the Start button twice — easy peasy. Overall, I’m extremely happy we chose this oven. It has all the features you’d want, performs beautifully, carries an outstanding warranty, and from everything I’ve heard, the company is great to deal with if you ever need customer service.

My wife didn’t want another appliance on the counter. She eventually agreed the large built-in convection oven used a lot of energy and took a lot of time to heat up. I told her that this multi-function air fryer was a great size. We received it and placed it where the toaster had been. We have been trying different recipes in the Cosori cookbook provided. Pre-heating is optional but it is so quick, it’s no big deal and allows the trays to get hot also. When it beeps, we open door and use long tongs to place food on trays. I find if you use air fryer tray (versus food tray which is solid), you should place solid food tray either under it on same level or at another level below. That way drippings go onto lower tray which is super easy to clean. If the food looks cooked before default time, just use up/down arrows to right to modify. Read instructions if you want to change a default time or temp for future cooking. Frankly, the toast function was better than are previous toaster and was evenly toasted across the bread/bagel. The steak recipe (Perfect Steak) was easy and tasty. 10 minutes and my 1” thick steaks were done. Of course, let steak rest for 5 minutes before serving. Contrary to some comments by others, the way we use bottom food tray, we have not had issue with tray at base getting burnt looking. After meal, I clean everything and all look brand new. Cleaning is so easy. Haven’t used rotisserie or dehydrate yet but should not be a problem. All easy to use and adjust for all cooking methods. So glad we finally are cooking healthier, faster, and with less energy being used…versus monster oven.

Due to some of the mixed reviews concerning this item I waited to post a review and have been very happy with the item after one year of ownership. 1. Some users noted a strong odor emitting from fryer after several uses. I am not sure if that's an isolated incident; however, my unit has not experienced any odors after one year of use. I typically wipe the inside of the unit down after use with just a wet cleaning cloth. 2. Perfect size for 1 to 2 people. Small footprint and takes up very little counter space. 3. Easy operation, pre-heats quickly, and the digital controls make it easy to set and forgot plus adds a higher end look than the actual cost of the appliance. The digital front panel control allows it to better match other appliances you may currently own. 4. The solid build quality is another added bonus as the unit does not sit flat on counter allowing better breathing and has numerous air vents around the sides to allow hot air to exhaust. Internal motor is quiet ... not silent operation but is not obtrusive if you are in the same room. Oven door has a solid feel upon opening or closing 5. Feature wise there are several settings fryer, broil, roast, reheat etc. 6. Very convenient item and well worth the price might be one of my best purchases under $100 ever. 7. Single? Party of 2? forgot to lay out frozen food go from frozen to fully cooked in 22 minutes or less with dry rubbed or light oil spray coat and then season will let you cook an entire meal in 30 minutes or less. 8. added value - rotisserie and spinning basket - frozen sweet potato fries, tater tots, seasoned fries etc. come out perfectly cooked and ready to serve - nice and crispy just like a deep fryer Final Verdict - there are a lot of choices out there and I can only speak to this one. Well worth the money and has features that allow this unit to punch well above its weight class. I use it on a regular basis in fact it has basically replaced the use of the range except for maybe creation of some side dishes. I love it so much I am thinking about getting the next model up which is larger and has a double tray system allowing the completion of a complete meal using one easy appliance. Would I purchase the same unit again? Absolutely - beyond any doubt!

Regret. I usually grill vegetables (haven’t yet), warm leftovers (it performed this task reasonably well), and make toast (burned it). (But I got to hear the sound of burnt toast being scraped over the sink — a sound that reminds me of growing up with a mother who was also not fond of being in the kitchen.) With grocery prices skyrocketing (tariffs), I’m now sorry I bought this. I hoped it would inspire me to cook more but so far I’ve barely used it. I’ll update if I fall in love with it. On the upside, it was well packaged and looks like a quality product. There was no weird plastic smell that others have noted.
