Q: Do these have tabs on both sides of the clip?

Just top and bottom to fit it the slots

Q: Are these the same as the kv shelf support clips?

The KV is the first letter of Knape & Vogt; these are made by KV and therefore are the same as the KV (Knape & Vogt) shelf supports.

Q: Will it work on field and stream safes?

The shelves I purchased these for are 1/2 " from the top of one hole too the top of the one below it. The clips are 3/4" spread so they can be pinched 1/4" and fit tight. The "NUBS" on the clips that go into the holes are 3/16" of an inch wide. I do not have the safe in question however if the above measurements match then they will work well for you.

Q: Can this clip replace the Knape & Vogt 239? It's the same shape but obviously a different number on the clip.

I don't know for sure. We used them for built-in shelving under a radiator vent in 1948 building, but it was over a year ago. Shape is probably right, chance they could be too big, see if you can get good dimensions and compare to the slots in the cabinet.

Undersized tabs

Seems sturdy enough, but doesn't fit.The tabs that go into the holder slots are too small to effectively hold. The whole bracket just falls off. Not very useful.Will be returning.
