Fills in driveway ruts with ease
I’ve got a quarter-mile long gravel driveway that comes over a ridge in the middle, so there’s a considerable amount of run-off on both sides. I had one side asphalted but left about 1/3 total as gravel because I like the look. However, I don’t own a tractor nor do I want to buy one, so I needed a way to take care of the ruts left in the driveway by the occasional torrential downpour we get here in East Tennessee, the kind that leaves ruts and furrows as the water makes it way downhill. This Landzie drag harrow is the cat’s meow. I drag it behind my ATV and it does what I wanted it to do, with one exception, which I’ll get to. It flattens out the ruts, pulling the gravel into the furrows and smoothing everything out. It’s helped to level out some of the high sides on the edge of the ruts, as well, and basically does everything I need it to do to make the driveway presentable and easy to drive on again after a rain. The only thing I wish that was different is that as I drag it, it spills the excess gravel out to the sides. If it only had slanted box blades on one side so that I could flip it around and pull the gravel back into the middle again instead of it flattening out toward the sides with every pass, I’d be a happy camper. As it is, I need to take a shovel and pitch some of the gravel back in after every time I use it so that my gravel doesn’t eventually disappear. As a 62-year-old woman, shoveling rocks was something I was trying to avoid, and this sledge takes away 75% of the work, so I’m going to chalk it up as winning. At least I’m not out there filling in deep channels in the driveway with a shovel any more. I’ve got it weighted down with five cinderblocks and there are times I need to put my Kawasaki Mule into 4WD to get it up the back side of the ridge, so you can imagine the speed and depth of the water coming down the ridge, creating those ruts that this little beauty so easily fills back in with only three or four passes. I’m glad I found it.

Good design but broke within first hour of use.
UPDATE - Contact with the LANDZIE team resulted in them immediately shipping a replacement tow bar and chain to get me back to work. While there concerns identified with the original items received the LANDZIE team expedited the replacement and directly engaged to understand what happened. The weld on the tow bar broke during the first hour of use, rendering the item inoperable. Despite arriving in pristine packaging, assembling it was straightforward, and it conformed to the dimensions of the LANDZIE 8-foot drag as described. Assembly was completed within ten minutes, resulting in a high-quality finish and a moderate weight. Utilizing the tow behind handle and a side-by-side UTV, I successfully towed the LANDZIE 8-foot drag. The connection was effortless, and the hitch proved effective. The tow behind handle provided stability for the 8-foot drag, maintaining a consistent distance and facilitating an easy tow. I successfully towed the drag at a speed of 3 miles per hour over a recently disc-shaped field that contained moderately large dirt clogs. Employing cement block weights, we generated sufficient down force to break up the clogs and level the area with four to five passes. Circular patterns proved most effective and removed vegetation that had not been recently trimmed. Regrettably, after working in a soon-to-be-constructed driveway area, the tow bar broke on the right side, where there is a weld attachment. Removing the tow bar was as simple as its installation. I subsequently transitioned to the chain attachment that is included with the 8-foot LANDZIE drag. Utilizing the chains demonstrated the value of the tow handle, as I observed the drag twisting and rotating more with the chain compared to the tow handle. Unfortunately, the situation worsened when one link in the tow chain also separated, rendering the unit inoperable due to the simultaneous failure of both tow mechanisms. I have contacted the vendor through their website and the number provided by Amazon and am currently awaiting a response. Overall, the design is commendable, but the metal’s strength is questionable. The welds, at least on the unit I had, do not appear to be of the highest quality. It is likely most suitable for light to moderate use. The tow bar design is commendable, but the durability of the construction remains uncertain.

Yes, it actually works.
This is a great product. Made of heavy enough to steel with quality chain. Drug about a half mile of gravel a couple inches deep. Awesome results!

1acre, leveled easily.
Super easy to get hooked up to the back of the riding lawn mower. Everything was sturdy and well secured. Pulled easily and leveled really well.

Smaller than expected
It's doing an OK job... but tends to flip over. I am using it to keep weeds and brush down on 9 acres. It's taking a beating but still doing the job.

The gravel driveway grader has been a fantastic tool for maintaining our driveway! It’s easy to attach and use, and it quickly smooths out ruts and levels the gravel with minimal effort. I was really impressed by how efficiently it transformed our driveway, making it look well-kept and even. The build quality is solid, and it handles tough spots without any issues. If you’re looking for an affordable and effective way to keep your gravel driveway in great shape, this grader is a must-have. Highly recommend it for anyone who wants a neat and level driveway!

Works great and a good value
easy to put together and use. not heavy enough on its own. putting cement blocks between the welded angle irons made to hold them, makes a huge difference and then works very well. much quicker then using a hand rake

Love it. Flattened out the area of land I wanted to within 1 hour. Towed behind a compact tractor. Could not tell it was on there. Looking forward to the spring to do some more top soil on the lawn. Delivery was super fast.
