The screen is a lot bigger than the xz but the cover covers about 98% of the screen with just the back part kinda exposed but it is no big deal. The cover fits right around the entire unit. Great price too and came quickly Highly recommend this seller.

Let's face it, you ended up here because a Decksaver seemed too extravagant since you just spent a lot of money on a controller. You're here to save $100 on a dust cover. So was I. The good news is that this will, indeed, cover your controller. It just might not do it elegantly. Turns out this cover is not quite wide enough to smoothly cover the XDJ-XZ. And it's overall too tall. This leaves it slightly bowed on the sides (due to an inner width of 34" vs the 34.5" of the XZ) and sagging nearly everywhere else (due to the 5.75" interior height of the cover vs the maximim 4.75" height of the XZ). Aside from piping on the sides and stitching along the front and back edges, there's not much to provide structure in the design. So it's not the most aesthetically pleasing dust cover I've ever owned, but, for $30, it does okay. There's nothing inherently bad here, just small things that could be adjusted for improved fit. But none of these stop the cover from keeping dust out of your controller. It does what it was made to do.
