Great value for the money

I originally ordered these to use in the fish tank until I read that they can be used in the humidifier. I have a 1-gallon humidifier that I run in my 10-year-old grandson's bedroom during the cold months as he gets serious nosebleeds from the dryness of the air due to our heating system. I had been using the ball type with the little handle on top which cleans but I always found residue and cleaned the humidifier every few days because I was paranoid that mold would form. You get 5 of these cartridges for $11.97 which is an excellent cost as a 2-pack of the ball type at Home Depot was roughly $10. I have been using the VEOL cleaner beads for a month and a half and just discarded the first one, cleaned the humidifier tank, and dropped in the second one. So far the first one kept the humidifier very clean. Instead of cleaning it every few days, I am only cleaning it once a week and when I do clean it I am not finding any serious residue. I have a high-end entire house water system that helps but if left to long the humidifier tank will still grow mold and accumulate debris. I will continue to use these as the five cartridges will last 240 days which is roughly just about how many days I need until warm weather comes and the humidity increases. I feel confident that these really work as described and will continue to use these as having them on hand is a stress release on my end. I will update my review if anything changes.

Unique way to keep the humidifier clean. I like that this product. Was very easy to use. I literally filled my humidifier and dropped it inside.

Doesn’t help with keeping humidifier from smelling moldy. Plastic holder easily separates causing pellets to spill everywhere. Save your money.

I like to take my portable humidifier with me when I travel in the winter. The hotel room heaters run constantly and dry the room out, and it causes me sinus and throat pain. I bought a little portable humidifier at Walmart, and it works well to provide enough moisture in the air. One issue is that when I pack the humidifier in my suitcase, the wick develops a mildew smell after a few days. I can't stand the smell of mildew, so I change the wicks. I can't find these wicks at my local Walmart, so it's nice to find one that will fit my humidifier, here on Amazon, at a reasonable price. This wick is slightly longer than the original wicks that came with my humidifier, but they did fit without having to be cut. They work great. I hope that you find this review and pictures helpful. When running my humidifier, I was getting a white powder all over everything from it. It needs to run 24/7 though. Once I received these, I did a thorough cleaning of the room to see the difference. These are supposed to just sit in the bottom of the humidifier tank. I used two for the size tank I have. After placing them in the tank, I continued to use the humidifier for a few weeks to see if there's any difference. It seems like there's less white powder on things, but it's hard to tell. It definitely didn't cut out ALL the minerals from the water if anything. It's hard to make a recommendation for these. It seems like they MAY have worked, but we also got a new water filter installed, so it may be that as well. Even so, I guess I expected no other minerals from the humidifier, but maybe I expected too much.

Mini humidifiers can become very harmful if they aren’t kept clean and the filter isn’t changed on a regular basis. These filter replacements prevent mold buildup in my machines, and the collection of essential oils I use (I hate switching the scent only to find the aroma of the oil I had used previously still lingering in the air from the deposits not removed) but these filters have truly put an end to that =) I can enjoy the fresh crips air while using my purifiers either alone or with my essential oils, AND these can be cut and used in various size machines. The quantity of 10 is a GREAT money saving value, and I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
