My new favorite way to enjoy cereal for breakfast
This cereal is really good. If you are an American and never had this before, beware it doesn't come out of the box like U.S. cereal. It comes in squares like granola bars. I put maybe 3 or 4 in a bowl, add sliced bananas and drizzle with honey. I add just a little bit of milk. Be prepared to eat it right away because it gets soggy very fast. It gives you a nice meal to start the morning and doesn't load you up with sugars and enough chemicals to make a chemist blush.

Weet-bix
My family loves Weetbix. It's our favorite breakfast and best snacks for the day with milk. Highly recommend it.

Great nutritious cereal - a little pricey
I’m from Australia and grew up on these. The ingredients are whole wheat and a little sugar (3%). Breakfast cereals here in the States are really lacking in my opinion. Most have way too much sugar; even those that don’t have too many strange ingredients or are hard to find. This Aussie weetbix are great; my kids love them and I do too. Don’t confuse them with the American knockoff which is called weetabix I think. At least give these a try. I only wish I could get them slightly cheaper, maybe by buying in bulk.

Comparable to Weetabix?
Recently, the price of the 1.12kg Value Pack (not 1.2kg) has fallen, allowing me to give these a go and make a comparison to Weetabix. After easily sliding a finger under the cardboard top to break a lightly glued flap, I found an unsealed plastic wrap, folded once or twice, containing the biscuits. Considering the distance this box had travelled to arrive at my breakfast table, I wondered if they were still fresh. I put couple in a bowl, added cold milk and a thin dusting of sugar and tucked in. Here's my findings. Yes, still very fresh! The biscuits are smaller and lighter in shade compared to Weetabix and the texture heavier, less fine, and as such did not absorb the milk with as much thirst, remaining firmer and less soggy right down to the last mouthful. The taste to me was not unlike that of Weetabix, just not as malty, not that Weetabix is particularly malty anyway, just less detectable in this cereal. I recommend you give Weet-Bix a try if you love Weetabix but perhaps become a little bored through familiarity and would like to taste a viable alternative. So go ahead and take the "Pepsi Challenge", which like the two beverages is really about preference, or what you fancy at any given moment. Pepsi and Coca-Cola have their own distinct flavor, but both remain very much tasting like cola, so to me it's less about which drink is better. I think that applies with these two cereals as both are comparably tasty, healthy, yet individual enough in flavor to have both in your cupboard. That is, if the price of either makes sense when our domestic cereals seem cheap, by comparison.
