I wasn't sure how I would feel about this case, as I've always tried to get the most rugged protective cases for my cellular devices. I will say, I'm amazed at how this case has managed to keep my device in pristine condition for several months now. The window on the front is actually pretty cool and as much as my phone goes in and out of my pocket there have been no scratches. I've actually dropped my phone twice, and it's stayed protected both times by the case. There is a slot that will hold one credit card/ID which is perfect for me, as I often can't have my wallet on me at work, but can still keep a credit card with my phone. It keeps the device fairly small, and gives it a feel that's quite slim and not clunky like some of the larger cases can. I feel like you can actually appreciate the efforts samsung put in the feel and design of the S23 ultra. Overall I'm very happy and don't really have anything negative to say about it.

Samsung Products are all great. I am very impressed with them. This seems to be durable, like my S22 Ultra Led Flip case, which is very lightweight, but durable. Don't let the lightness of the case distract you. The Material seems to be quality. In my experience, they last long. I have more of an Officer Worker type of Job. So your usage might be different. This case fits like a glove and is designed by Samsung for this phone. I doubt one could find a lighter case that offers protection and does not create a thicker phone. I like that it is slim and thin. It looks good too. Personally, I think it is a great case, with one Caveat, Read on to see what I mean...: One benefit to this unique case, is that you get a clear view of Time, Date, and Notifications. You can also fold back your case and still take photos on the Main Camera! The Benefit of Flip cases, are that you have protection for your Screen. These types of cases have served me well over three of the last editions of Samsung Galaxay Phones. The one difference is the open window in this case. With this Samsung case, you have an open window, a cut out in the case. This lets one see the screen of the phone. This enables a clear view of Notifications, Time, and such. You can also fold your case back fully and do photos. But, the open window also means you have an unprotected part of your screen. This could possibly lead to scratches. IF you are one to sell or trade-in a used phone, then that is not good. Not only are scratches on a screen an aggravation, but it lessens the value of your trade-in. To me, having part of your Screen open like that, defeats the purpose of having a case. I had debated returning the case, but I decided to keep it. I took a piece of clear plastic from a package, and cut it to size. I taped it to the inside of the Samsung Case. Now I have protection and can still see all the notifications, time, and alerts. It's not a perfect solution, but it offers my phone screen protection. So, should you buy it or not? It's a personal choice. Samsung Products are excellent and durable. The "Apple" of the Android world. It's very functional. But, in my opinion, the risk of a scratched and worn part of your Screen is higher (unless you modify it, as described.).
