This is a brilliant and unique game concept, and really fun for a family activity. My daughter excels at spotting small details and loves the idea of detective work, so she really enjoys this. Adults (i.e me) may need to practice mindfulness in order to hold back blurting out answers before their kids get a chance to figure things out for themselves ;) This is not a lazily made product. It's clear the artist enjoys making these. There are so many fun details packed into the map, even outside of the 16 main storyline missions that the provided cards guide you through. We ended up marking each completed story with dashed lines of a different pen color, which is quite a satisfying result to behold (though admittedly this does ruin replay value!). I actually played this game on my iPhone first, before realizing there was a physical version. The huge physical sheet makes it more fun than the phone version IMO (though that's also good, and has entirely different maps/stories).

Love the game

I got this for my family to help get us together and off our screens at night. My wife and I and our 7 year old son have been cracking through the missions (2 left) and we've loved every second of it and the time we have spent together. It's really great for us and my son can get fully into it as well though I'd say 7 is probably the youngest age that could really engage and reason through it. Some of the missions aren't appropriate for him so my wife and I do them. But it's nice because the game identifies the ones that might not be suitable for younger folk. Overall so fun and easy to learn and play. Hours and hours of fun for the family together!

This game is fun! If you want to be able to play it more than once you can put a plastic sheet over it. Many people can play at once, it’s fun!

Love that there are more versions of this game! This was great for 10 and 13 year olds to actually play together! Although it does not interfere with the integrity of the game, there were less sleeves for the individual cases in this box.

Fantastic game that can be catered to all ages. A great brain teaser

I bought a couple of the Crime City games (each game has a unique map) to give to my college student. This game is a little tricky to learn, but once you get started, it is suitable for a wide range of ages. It is fun to inspect the map and look for your character and your criminal (assigned by crime packet), and to work forward OR backward to trace the path of their activities through the city. My only complaint is that we want MORE - maybe there could be some extension packets. Love this game.

This is a very well done game! The attention to detail in the map is insane, and the stories are will crafted and pretty funny. I've played this with another couple over some wine, and we all had a blast solving these crimes! My little siblings even found the easier cases pretty enjoyable. Some of the cases get pretty difficult. It's like where's Waldo meets clue.
