This Cap Target Inflator is a fun way to use a non-explosive target that merely operates by air pressure.
With this shooting target cap you can pump air into your plastic bottle and it is recommend to pump up to 80 psi depending on the weather and size of the bottle.
This is a new shooting invention that allows you to have a blast without drinking sugar --- a Target Inflator Cap made to fit WATER BOTTLES!! Designed to fit Nestlé's brand 1/2 liter (500ml) bottles — Ice Mountain, Pure Life, Deer Park, Poland Spring, Ozarka, Arrowhead, resource, Zephyrhills and Pure Life Splash. (Fits the 8 ounce bottle but it won't explode.) Also fits Nestlé's Ice Mountain 700 ml. sports bottle, Deer Park 'Easy-Open Top' 700 ml, Deer Park 1 liter (33.8 oz) and Sam's Choice Purified Drinking Water and more... Will NOT fit Great Value Purified Drinking Water.
When shooting low power BB guns (350 FPS) use only the thinnest 1/2 liter (500ml) bottles and inflate to 60 PSI with a bike pump.
The pressurized air immediately disperses to normalcy creating a "boom" as the air molecules rush out into the normal atmospheric pressure.
Warm Tips:
Always wear safety glasses to protect from ricochets and back the target up with cardboard to keep the bottle from bouncing off of the BB.
BB guns are powerful enough to blow these bottles however --- Hot weather softens the thin plastic bottles to where they may fail during inflation therefore they're best used at temperatures below 80°F.
For stronger guns, archery, crossbows, blowguns, etc use heavier Ice Mountain 700 ml. sports bottles, Deer Park 'Easy-Open Top' 700 ml or equivalent in temps above 80°F.
