Good gloves
I followed the measurement instructions to select size and the gloves fit perfectly. Seemingly well made and I suspect will last well, but but only time will tell

I use these gloves for work on construction sites every single day, 8+ hours a day as I work with sharp and hot metals with lots of swarf and shavings that I need remove, but still need my thumb and index finger free to accurately thread nuts and bolts so Framer gloves like this are suitable. It is likely not the intended use but hopefully I can give you an idea of their durability. They are comfortable and flexible enough. Other Framer gloves have "shock protection" that end up feeling too bulky or restrictive when closing the palm or trying to grip things. These gloves have just the right amount of padding/leather on the palm yet flexible and breathable for the back of your hand. I've purchased about 5-6 pairs of these gloves over the year so they have heavy use and I wear them out a lot. I haven't tried washing them to be honest I would probably be doing it weekly and break them down quicker. Once they start falling apart (commonly holes and splits in the finger or around the velcro strap). I change them out. The strap itself has always held up and held tight even when soiled. If you're not using them as heavily or commonly as I am I am sure they would last much longer. Buy true to size for a good fit, don't get a size up.

As someone who loves being outdoors, I picked these gloves up specifically for a November, end-of-season sail on the Chesapeake. It gets cold on the water that time of year, and handling lines with freezing hands is a recipe for mistakes. These gloves turned out to be exactly what I needed. Performance & Build Quality From a durability standpoint, these are excellent. I used them heavily for handling lines, docking procedures, and general early morning work on the boat. The grip is fantastic—secure without being too stiff—and the material held up well against the friction of the ropes. They feel built to last, and I fully expect to get many more seasons out of them. Design & Ergonomics The 3-finger design offers a good balance of dexterity and protection. However, there is one small design critique I have for the manufacturer: pull tabs. The fit on the half-finger portions is snug (which is good for performance), but that makes them a bit of a struggle to peel off when your hands are cold or wet. Small loops or tabs on the fingers would make removal much smoother. It's not a dealbreaker, but it would be a significant usability improvement for future versions. Final Thoughts Overall, these are solid, reliable gloves that did exactly what I asked of them in tough conditions.

I have to manually pull up the 200' anchor line on my boat which is heavy and can be difficult to release from the lake bottom. I found that my hands were getting chewed up and slipping on the rope. I ordered these and I am glad I did. I keep them in the anchor locker now and that is were they will stay. I can grip the rope better with these and they protect my hands nicely. The quality of the gloves is very good and probably overkill for what I am doing with them.
