It's exactly what it is. The size is just right and it's nice and sturdy seems like it will last if treated well of course. Downside it does have semi strong grassy natural scent to it which makes sense and youll get use to it after a while and only smell it when freshening your mattress. Check if youre allergic though since it seems to be legit real

I’m an artist, so I originally purchased this to protect my tile floor as I paint. It’s not that it doesn’t fit that bill, it surely does. It’s so nice that I just didn’t want paint dripping on it! I put it in one of my bathrooms. It adds such a classy look. I had to find a cheaper rug to paint on. This one’s too nice for that.

There is the expected sweet smell of grass, which you either like or do not. The construction and filling are excellent and the dimensions are exactly as described.

Doesn't add much to a futon sleep situation.

Best purchase I’ve made. It’s the perfect size, firmness and quality is excellent. It’s easy to fold, and to simply wipe clean. There was a smell, but I really didn’t mind it, it smelled nice!

This was my first tatami mat (or trying to try a tatami mat) and the "sweet grass" smell was more like stinky hamster smell and I am sadly returning it.

Perfect for my situation. I didn’t want to buy a new frame and mattress yet, so decided to get this mat and a mattress topper. I put the mat on my metal platform frame and then put my mattress on that then the mattress cover. It smells good too.
