Bought this to help with my daughters terrible 2s and we both love it! There are loads of stars and the magnets are super strong none have fallen off, not to mention there are a few blank cards which help for writing your own!

Easy to use. Useful that it's magnetic

We bought this chart for our daughter, who is three and a bit. She loves to get stars and we find that she responds much better to rewards than to punishments; her behaviour has really improved since we started using this chart regularly.The chart board is nice and strong and the "headings" cover a good wide range of tasks - we will be able to use the chart for a long time as it will stay revelant to her needs. We'll just alter the things she has to get stars for as she grows up.The stars themselves are a bit fiddly but we popped them all out of the backing-sheet and keep them in little pots so she can choose the colours. She enjoys sticking them on the chart. (We keep it well out of her reach on the wall so she can't add random ones on, though!)We review the stars she's got at the end of every day, and on Saturday or Sunday morning we do a count-up and she gets a Rainbow Drop sweet for every star she's achieved. The chart has a place to write in agreed star targets, so as she gets older she can bank the stars and save up for bigger rewards, but at the moment she's happy with pretty little sweeties and they're only 10p a packet! She gets a chocolate button bonus if she's had a really good week.The chart is designed to cater for up to four children, and there is also a pen with an eraser included to write on your own targets. We found the pen-nib a bit thick for the size of the space but use another pen to write things on and find the eraser very useful.It's not a cheap product but it's well-made, and because it's reusable it pays for itself in a few weeks. Overall, three satisfied customers!

I bought this about a month ago for my 3 and a half year old son, to encourage some simple behaviours like eating well and playing nicely. The board is nice and sturdy and opens up to hold the stars which is handy. The colours are nice and the choice of stars made it more interesting for my son. The pictures are also good as he can't read yet. I have found the chart works very well. I have noticed an improvement in my son's behaviour even though we sometimes forget to actually physically put the stars up as we go along. I now find that just saying 'don't forget you won't get your star if do do/don't do that' does the trick as he is genuinely concerned about losing a star. The system we've chosen means one small treat per day if all stars are gained but you could do it over the course of a week. The only negative I can think of is that the whole thing is rather small but in fairness the dimensions are given on the description so this is more down to poor visualisation on my part.Overall I would recommend this product as a good value starting point for reward charts but expect that I will be upgrading to a larger one within the next year or so.

Good product for encouraging good habits & behaviour in young children. However it’s large & needs to be hung up on wall, which means drilling nails & finding some place to put additional magnetic pieces. There was a smaller book type version of this product made before, which hung on a string & could hold the magnetic stars etc inside it for handiness. This would have been more favourable.

My daughter is now 2 and we've had this for 6 months or so. It's an absolutely brilliant product. Initially I started looking for stickers but it all just seemed so wasteful and extra headspace constantly buying stickers/making charts so I was over the moon to find this.The pros are: it's bright and colourful, you can have up to 4 people on it, you can use their premade tags or write on your own depending what's happening in your world, you get absolutely loads of stars in quite a few colours, it's a great size, it wipes clean really easily and it all sticks really well so you don't need to worry about any stars (or the chart) falling off.The cons....there aren't any.Product aside, the concept of using a star reward chart has worked for us. Our daughter responds so well and gets really excited about getting a star.I've sent this link to various friends and they all think it's great. I'm a huge fan!

Bit smaller than expected. Wish I had five of them. So versatile! 2.5 year old engaged straight away. Love that there are spare tiles to add your own targets.
