Good quality, I use for work, not gaming
Parts listed below for this whole setup. Nice monitors, I use them for work all day, and they're clear, my eyes aren't tired, and the size is nice. I had originally tried working on my 55" TV, but this setup is WAY better. To explain the picture: I wanted a stand so that my desk could sit flat against the wall to take up as little space in my bedroom as possible. My stand/sit desk is 2.5" away from the wall, and it goes up and down, without marking the wall. Monitors I bought (27") fit with the stand with about 3/4" to spare. I bought this in January, and am writing this review in May, so I've owned for 4 months with no issues. I didn't rate for gaming, because I use this for work, I'm not much of a gamer these days. If you like video games, don't get an office job, you won't want to be on a PC in the evening after working on one all day. lol I should probably mention also, these only came with HDMI cables, so in order for these to work with my MSI, I had to get a mini-display port adapter. That costed me $42 from local staples.

TECHNICAL WRITER APPROVED!
I'm a technical writer working from home 90% of the time. Dealing with technical instructions/illustrations, reviewing engineer drawings, and countless Teams/Zoom meetings, my eyes take a real beating during those 10-hour work days. I was using a pair of Dell P2412HB monitors for over 6 years, until one of them gave up the ghost just last week. No self-respecting technical writer should ever use a single monitor, in my honest opinion. Time to go shopping! While I was at it, I decided to replace them both. I did my usual research, and decided to replace both my 24" Dell monitors in favor of two 27" units. Dell has some nice units, but they are highly overpriced. I'm an LG guy, but I wasn't sold on their monitors. I decided to give BenQ a chance, and ordered two GW2780 units. Monitors arrived the very next day via Purolator. Very well packaged. All the cables and accessories were included. Installation went as well as one could have expected. The BenQ workmanship is well above par, and the IPS picture quality is remarkable (much easier on my eyes as I do not feel sleepy after 4-5 hours of screen time like I did with the Dell units). The setup on-screen menus are a tad outdated, but they get the job done. Although these monitors have built-in speakers, I do not use them as I have a sound bar. The GW2780 are also very reasonably priced. As a first time BenQ product consumer, I'm very impressed with the brand. So much so, that I'm thinking of order two BenQ GW2480 monitors to add to my workstation. Overall, I am very glad that I took the gamble on BenQ.

Great Value Monitor with a Few Sound Quality Drawbacks
I recently purchased 2 BenQ GW2780 Computer Monitors and overall, I am quite satisfied with my purchase. The monitor offers excellent value for its price point and boasts some impressive features. One of the standout features is the Eye-Care Technology, which significantly reduces eye strain during extended periods of use. As a software developer, I spend countless hours staring at screens, and this feature has made a noticeable difference in reducing eye fatigue. The monitor's display quality is crisp and vibrant, providing a comfortable workspace for coding and design tasks. The size is also perfect for multitasking, allowing me to have multiple windows open simultaneously. However, there is one area where the monitor falls short – the built-in speakers. Unfortunately, they sound noticeably worse than my laptop speakers. For someone who occasionally enjoys watching videos or having conference calls without headphones, this could be a drawback. In conclusion, the BenQ GW2780 offers an impressive display, value for its price, and eye-care technology that is a significant benefit for those long coding sessions. While the built-in speakers may not meet everyone's audio expectations, this can easily be remedied with external speakers or headphones. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend this monitor to fellow software developers looking for an affordable and eye-friendly display option.
