Much better than stock pad

I thought this pad design would offer more airflow vs stock ones I had that are 2 solid pad segments vs the 4 of this one. But, the padding is too dense and the majority of the weight gets distributed to the top two pads in the arc. That means the weight is now mainly on 2 small points and creates discomfort. I can wear the headphones with the stock pad all day, but can’t take more than an hour with these. The tool included was a nice addition to make the install easier.
