I've had terrible acne for my teenage years and now that I'm closer to ending my hormonal and puberty years, this product and cleanser has been one of the staples of my routine. It single-handedly helped with exfoliating, clearing acne, clearing dark spots and hyperpigmentation, and smoothing my complexion with the rice brain and rice brain water. I'm a veteran of this product as I've bought many of these bottles, they are an excellent price for your buck and they are great for those who also have sensitive skin. Compared to the other more expensive brands I've tried such as the TATCHA rice wash, the microfilaments and rice grains in this one are definitely finer and the consistency of the cleanser is smoother and isn't as abrasive. Considering that you could buy around 8-9 of these before you get the price of the TATCHA one, I would definitely say that this is such a DUPE and is still super great by itself. In my around 3 years using this I've only purchased 3 bottles and I use it frequently every day too- you get a good amount in the bottle and I've checked that they are REALLY filled when you first purchase them so you are getting all the product you are paying for. I have always struggled with my skin and learned so much about ingredients, products, and everything skincare, and this still has been in my routine after trying maybe 100 or so products this is still the one I can say will forever be stable in my skincare. SO RECOMMEND to everyone.

My skin type: Oily, Large Pores, Acne -Used 1-3x weekly Pros: -Smoothed skin texture after first use -Noncomenogenic (won't clog pores) -Tube will last you a long time -Great for sensitive skin Cons: -Did not remove makeup effectively. Texture: smoothe white paste-like (think toothpaste but not sticky) with grain texture (exfoliant). I loved this product. I used it as a double cleanser after a face wash that removes makeup. It definitely smooths out your skin without leaving your face dry. Not the best as a cleanser by itself but so great, gentle enough to be used daily and It lasts quite a while.

This a great gentle exfoliating cleanser that is effective on all skin types. It is especially good on dry, sensitive and mature skin. I would suggest it be used in the morning followed by a daytime serum and sunscreen. I am a retired aesthetician and am always researching new products for my 71 year old skin. I don’t usually give a review, but this is a great find! Exfoliating is an important part of a daily routine along with a good serum and sunscreen. I definitely recommend this cleanser.

This cleanser changed my skin for the better! I was battling dry flaky skin since I have entered menopause and I had a sample of a much more expensive rice face wash that really helped but wanted something a little more economical. I found this and have to say the quality is amazing, it works even better and seems to not have as much scent as the luxury brand which is a good thing! My face is so soft after using this! I have sensitive skin so exfoliants usually irritate me, but this is just enough to remove flakes but not inflame my face. I love this face wash and am going to try the other products from 9 wishes based upon the quality of this cleanser.
