Columbia Women's Newton Ridge Plus Waterproof Amped Hiking Boot

I'm really pleased with these boots. They are so comfortable straight out of the box. I have worn them on many a dog walk and can say they are definitely waterproof. We have walked through plenty of puddles and mud, my dog always finds the mud, and I've come home with dry feet. I've bought many a pair of waterproof boots where you come home with soaking wet feet just after walking through wet grass. They are easy to clean with a damp cloth, thankfully, so hopefully they will stay looking nice for longer. I think they are great quality, they are light weight but feel robust. I'm a size 7 and the 7 fit me perfectly. A bonus is that they don't make my feet look huge which some do. Overall I'm impressed with these boots and can recommend.

I love the colour of these. I have wide feet and they fit me well. They are comfortable and sturdy for hiking and so far haven't let in any water.

Used on a lot of walks now and they are amazing quality boots and very comfy! I bought whilst on offer so even happier with my purchase but would still have been happy if I paid full price - Highly recommend.

These are really comfy on the initial try-on! This is my 3rd pair of hiking boots and they feel great already, I highly recommend them. I went with a size 6 (usually I am a size 5.5 in walking boots) but 6 is perfect, they've got plenty of room but are not too tight/loose. The colour is lighter than I expected, but still look great, can't wait to go out hiking in them 🥾

Definitely go up a size. I thought I was safe as I'm a small UK 5, but these only just fit. They come up higher on the ankle than my other boots, so need a bit of wearing-in/ getting used to. I'm hoping they will be comfier after that. Nice quality though. Cinder colour is more purple IRL. Sole is well cushioned. Wish I'd bought a 5.5 but they were £30 more!

I've worn these hiking in the summer. I've run them through puddles. I've worn them slogging through thigh-deep snow. The only way moisture is getting in is if you're the one producing it from sweating. They definitely feel best if you are wearing a boot-length sock, and a thicker winter sock adds nice cushion (even though they already feel very comfortable without extra support). Perfect fit for a normal size 6. I've had them on for hours in 90+ F weather and -7 F below weather for hours. I've even had snow cleats attached to them, and my feet are the same normal soreness you would expect from hiking five miles in deep snow in any other shoe. The only thing I say is they are a little heavy for a shoe, but they are a hiking boot, so it's expected and you get accustomed to it pretty fast; it's just funny when you put on running shoes and feel like you're going to spring off the ground from the lack of weight. 10/10, would recommend!

Heel fijne schoenen! Al op meerdere wandelkampen meegegaan, net als op vele vakanties. Vulkanisch gesteente, modder, gravel, overal kunnen deze schoenen tegen. Heerlijk stevige schoenen. Ze zijn hun geld zeker waard!

Für mich ein ganz toller Wanderschuh. Ich habe ihn bei einer 20km-Tour im Schnee das erste mal getragen. Beim klettern und Eis hatte ich einen sehr guten halt. Meine Füße sind dabei trocken und warm geblieben. Obwohl der Schuh sehr stabil ist, ist er sehr bequem zu tragen und nicht schwer am Fuß. Vor allem vom Fußbett her. Ich habe keine Blasen von der Wanderung bekommen. Lediglich eine Druckstelle an einem Knöchel, da dieser etwas ausgeprägter ist als der Andere. Das ist allerdings kein Hindernis, da der Schuh mittels der oberen Hakenschnürung super von der weite her einstellen lässt. Ebenso lassen sie sich leicht reinigen. Ich finde die Schuhe von der Größe sehr passgenau. Kann sie sehr weiterempfehlen.
