A simple, well executed urn- appearance is tasteful, material is natural, color is great, it’s of the right size for the adult ashes / cremains / aquamains. Lid fits tight but is still easy to open. It is a nice product that honors the deceased. Arrived very fast. Good packaging (albeit the outer box was a bit weak and thin, so it started to deteriorate after repacking and unpacking twice- need to reinforce with tape). TSA approved according to the description, so that can be helpful I guess, if we need to transport my mom’s remains. Final words: it is surprisingly difficult to find an urn that is not very captain obvious (vase-like), so many urns have shiny and cheesy shapes / finishes that look a bit creepy to be honest. This one is great because it can be displayed normally in our interior, in an inconspicuous manner, with zero creep factor.

I purchased this beautiful, masculine urn just prior to my loved one’s new birth. When I did go to the funeral home to make arrangements, they of course offered urns—but nothing that came even close to this quality. The price is excellent.

I bought this as a stop-gap urn until we could decide on something more permanent. Honestly, I love it. I will probably not replace it. It has a very handsome minimalist look. The inside of the lower part of the box, and the outside bottom, are covered with fine black felt. The lid fits tightly, but is not difficult to remove. It fits adult cremated remains with no problem, but there is not a lot of extra space in the bottom. There is about 2.5" of extra space in the lid, so if your ashes are in a plastic bag, there's room for the bag to poke up a bit into the lid area. The box is very lightweight, but doesn't feel cheap. My only, very minor complaint, is the top is not made from knot-free walnut. It has two very small knots, one on the top and one on a side. Most people (who are not woodworkers) would probably not even notice them. The wood is still smooth and finished well.

It is beautiful done. Because it is made of wood, wood veneers, and mdf, it is TSA compliant. Meaning the scanner at the airport will be able to image inside of it. TSA is not allowed to open the urn. One has to have the deceased person’s (1) death certificate, and (2) cremation certificate to show to the TSA screener. Also make sure the specific airline or airlines of your choice allow cremation containers, whether in carryon and or checked baggage.

I have been searching for an appropriate cremains container for my husband's ashes for quite some time. He was a teacher for 32 years and also a drummer in a band on the side. This container looks like an old school speaker and that is why it caught my eye. Most others I saw were too ornate or had "printed" wood grain. I wanted real wood. This one is beautifully crafted with real wood. It is sturdy and well-made and comes with a beautiful velvet drawstring bag. It feels good in your hands. It came well packaged. The only downside (for me) is my husband's ashes do not fit in the container when using the velvet bag...so I just do not use the velvet bag ..ashes are in original plastic bag. As a point of reference my husband was 220lbs. Overall, we are very happy with this purchase..and it looks so beautiful on display.

It is a beautiful box. It's very masculine, simple yet elegant. My late husband would've loved this. I chose it to keep his ashes in and it looks so nice in my home. It came with a protective bag to use and also the kindest, heartfelt note from the manufacturer. I am so appreciative to have something affordable that is such good quality as well. I would highly recommend this purchase.
